2020 Presidential Race

The Lin Wood case in GA is incredibly intriguing. He claims that state constitution demands that only state legislature can change/add election law. He adds that the SoS changed/added mail-in law due to Covid. Thus, he claims the entire election was unconstitutional and void.

No one is denying that the SoS bypassed legislators to change the mail-in election laws.

I can't see how the GA election stands.
I thought that was Pennsylvania... Then again so many contentious states.

The judge specifically wrote that the injunction is not moot due to the electors having already been appointed, since the electors are now restricted from voting. He went on to say that the case has a likelihood of being won, and that upon the case's victory, the state legislature would then have the right to bypass the unconstitutional election results and reassign the electors. This was in the judge's statement of whether more voters would be disenfranchised y an unconstitutional election standing, or by the legislature reassigning the electors.

Like I said, you should read more and post less.
You make things up. No judge has said that "case has a likelihood of being won". The Trump legal team has made fools themselves. They haven't won a major ruling yet. You should learn to read something other than right wing conspiracies. Judge Stephanos Bibas didn't mince words about how pathetic the Trump legal team has been. And he is a Trump appointee.

That's the unofficial count according to the media. The EC hasn't spoken yet.
The number of people here who still honestly believe that Trump is going to somehow magically win... is hysterical... and a little pathetic. Keep dreaming though. It will make January 20th all the more satisfying for the rest of us.

From the judge's response:

Additionally, Petitioners appear to have established a likelihood to succeed on the merits because Petitioners have asserted the Constitution does not provide a mechanism for the legislature to allow for expansion of absentee voting without a constitutional amendment.

Please pause and study. Stop doing this to yourself. You do this all the time, and all you do is bloody your own nose before slinking off and eventualy forgetting what it feels like to bleed, so you do it all over again.

I knew Lin wood was Georgia, but Pennsylvania is playing much the same. This is getting interesting.

I agree. And it's become much more interesting with the favorable response given by the judge in PA, since both suits are using the same strategy: "Screw contesting ballots. The entire thing is null and void because election law was changed by the wrong people, in the wrong way. State legislators, ignore the voided results and appoint your electors."

You haven't been paying attention. Most of us prodding you with sharp pointy things don't really believe this will get flipped. However, should a miracle happen, watching the meltdown will far outweigh having Trump remain in the WH. Winning the first half of a football game and losing the rest wouldn't even compare to your emotional flip.

Who is this? Those aren't the words of Judge Stephanos Bibas, who was basically making fun of the Trump team. You said "he" earlier, so you aren't talking about Judge Patricia McCullough either. Who are you quoting for one thing?

Also, the Pennsylvania Attorney General, Josh Shapiro, said this about Judge McCullough's order, "This order does not impact yesterday's appointment of electors."

You should stop doing this to yourself. You are getting your hopes up for something that simply isn't going to happen. Trump will not be the President of the United States on January 21st.

It's a good strategy, if they can prove actions unconstitutional. I'm loving the foreign interference angle too.

@Orange_Crush seems to sincerely believe it. His posts are straight out of a conspiracy theorist site.

A final court order could effect the electors however if the legislature takes it over.

This is the Honorable Patricia A McCullough, who heard the case and upheld the previous ruling today. I've been quoting directly from her written opinion on the case.

Good evening. This is the place where I wash my hands of you.

Oh, I believe more strongly than ever that Trump will remain for his second term, with a Constitutionally decided victory.
