You omitted a bit of my post, I do believe. I said plainly that cutting spending was one way to offset the deficit. But it would take ample cuts and that would have a slowing effect on the economy.
It's why, even though trump and the right had control, they never cut spending. It wasn't just coincidence.
But with Biden being elected, no doubt they'll suddenly remember their conservativism. Which would be fine for the right reasons. Along with Mnuchin moving the small business loan funds under senate controI, have a feeling we'll see a slower than necessary recovery.
Unfortunately, *nothing* is more important, to either side, than building their case for 2024.
