We're at 2000 deaths a day already. Those are basically from infections that took place 3-4 weeks ago. Infections have only gone up. Hospitals are already close to max. I do think we hit 4000 a day.

We're at 2000 deaths a day and about 200k new cases a day currently. The deaths we're seeing today are from infections that took place a few weeks ago when we were having about 100k cases a day. Why do you guys hate math so much?

I would love to see the decontamination system EL has set out just inside the entry way of that brownstone . I’ll bet it’s impressive and I bet the deliver people hate it .

NYC, all things considered, is doing much better than the rest of the country. My zip is well under 2% positive rate. Outside of small children and the occasional homeless guy, you don't see a soul going maskless where I live. Most are wearing KN95s at this point.

That’s interesting indeed considering NYC is out pacing the entire state of Florida in deaths but Florida has tripled you in positive results . It boggles the mind .

EL lives in a bunker at ground zero and is hoping ( it seems like ) the rest of the country catches up . NYC has more “ Covid deaths “ than the entire states of California. Texas or Florida .
