2020 Presidential Race

I don’t think there will be a lawsuit, I do think it’s plausible that their lawyers sent something to the campaign and Trump’s real lawyers told him he had some possible exposure from Powell’s comments and that’s why they threw her off the bus.
I don't think that's why he threw her under. He himself retweeted OAN stuff on Dominion (wouldn't that be defamation?).

I think he threw her under because her claims got so wild (implicating Republicans) that he knew the party would no longer support them.

sad thing is people don't read the actual stories....only the headlines. Her tweet if from November....the headline is from October 21st. 500 Billion was less than what the White House and the Senate Democrats proposed. The WH propsed 1.8 Trillion, while the Senate Democrats proposed 2.2 Trillion. Both wanted more money to combat the virus and help the States. Of course, Senate Republicans want to do the bare minimum to make it seem like they are doing something.
Dems wanted to bail out the states for their years of complete and total mismanagement. That is not covid relief

Everyone saw a big pot of freshly printed money and tried to stick their grubby little fingers in it

If the IRS can find problems with Trump's "creative" tax returns, good for them. Hard to believe they haven't tried. I'm a lot more concerned with how legislators get to multi millions on a salary that would never put them in that realm. You would think that includes speaking fees, books, foundations, etc.
Don’t know about the IRS but the Southern District of NY has certainly been trying. But there are certain rules in place concerning a sitting President. If they don’t indict him when he leaves office, then I would agree it was a witch hunt. NY needs to put up or shut up. And it should be concerning to all how politicians get rich while in office. That’s why most of them do it. Money and connections. Nobody in their right mind would do it just for the salary.

Maybe it depends on what you think his motive is. Like I think what you’re saying is plausible but I don’t think Trump gives a **** about the party.

I don’t think he’s actually trying to overturn the election. I think he’s just trying to raise one last bit of money on the way out.

Par for the course. I’ve seen James Woods quoted. Lol.

Re-tweeting Randy Quaid? Oh my. Might be the only guy who can out-do Nuthouse Rudy in the category of Crazier Than An Outhouse Rat.

2024 will see one or more of these Twitter Trumpsters running strong in the primaries.

You’ve got angry crazy former actors, angry crazy former musicians, Pizzagate goon, boring office cartoons guy, and angry bong aficionado guy.

That doesn’t even get into the YouTube basement incels and cryptid government insiders identified by a letter.

It’s a strong field.

Also regarding this, the suggesting people are making that Trump is going to create a network to take down Fox News is amusing. That would require him to actually work.

He needs a Roger Ailes (without the harassment) and I’m not sure there’s another one out there.

I’d say his problem will be too much interference when he really doesn’t understand the nuances. He’ll end up being the Jerry Jones of Rupert Murdochs.

Wealth shaming? How very socialist of you, Justin.

Top 10% of Americans would jump off a bridge if they woke up with Biden’s net worth.
I don't mind anyone making money, but he used his position in government to make millions. He's never held a job in his pathetic life. Get 10% for the big guy

That article is really reaching. He's fighting to not have a bill left once he exits. He knows the transition office has been in place for a while now
It’s not reaching to point out the hypocrisy of the dems, which is obvious, and to say that Trump kept his promises, which he has, and that he wants to follow the rule of law, which the dems don’t. All of that is true.
