If money is the only reason he’s not fired, that’s the worst way to approach this. This fan base will go absolutely ape S*** if they go out and make a splash hire. Donations would be coming in at record levels if they really needed help after finally showing the fan base they care about winning. Apathy is going to cost UT more money in the end.
The money argument is BS.
1) this university has more than enough money to fire this clown and hire a new coach.

2) it will cost way more money to: fire some assistants, pay above market value to get coaches to coach with lame duck Pruitt for a year, fire all of them, fire Pruitt, hire a new coach and assistants.

Fire Pruitt, hire freeze, and see which assistants he keeps around. It’ll be much cheaper

Looking at our schedule next year. We have UGA as a marquee home game and that's it. If Pruitt is still here then ticket sales are gonna be terrible. Have to find a way to turn the OOC and lower-tier SEC opponent home games into 90K+ in the stands at least (assuming COVID is handled by then).

Welp...it finally happened..my wife started running a fever and coughing last evening so I took her to get the Covid test this morning and it came back positive. I have a little bit of headache and sore throat and that's about it. It was bound to happen sooner or later, we are both in health care and it honestly shocks me that it has taken this long to hit us.

Prayers appreciated that we are not among the unlucky ones.
It's just a little cold. Covid is a dem hoax, remember? All fake news. You'll be fine

Will sure be praying for you both, McGill.

Anyone else fear all the negative press gets CJP another extension in the name of stabilizing recruiting? Seems like the Tennessee thing to do.

Hot take. This offense constantly beats the defense in practice so Pruitt takes it personally and punishes the fan base for his lack of development on that side of the ball.

A good qb away from being in the second tier of the SEC. Obviously Pruitt shares a good portion of the blame for this, but I do think it’s as simple as figuring out the qb situation next year.

The thing is we truly are a good QB away from being pretty dang Good. But Pruitt is not the guy to take us there.

Okay. Stupid question. Is the orange on the site looking "brighter" since like Friday, or is it just my phone? All other sites seem to look the same.

I can't seem to shake the feeling that at the end of the day the problem in the football program at Tennessee is the Haslam's and the other money people making the decisions on what goes on in the program. It reminds me of Ted Turner with the Braves. Once Ted realized he didn't know how to run a baseball team and let people who did make the decisions, the rest is history.

HB is doing well for a true FR with not a lot of practice, and he'll get better and better the more he plays. He'd be better already if he'd gotten the early PT he should have this season. He has a lot of support from the team.
The team knows! Will he make mistakes? Absolutely, but you have to give him a fair shot. I can’t stand that Chaney isn’t that high on him supposedly.
