Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong, but he seems like a genuinely nice guy, so I don't like to see people gang up on him. But just like everyone on a message board, you have to take it as it's presented. It's anonymous.

Well, one of the suggested ‘splanations I’ve read was that he was truly a member of boosters trying to get Gruden in, and they thought it was happening, but either they were deliberately deceived, or it was underway but fell through.

That rumor is out there. I don't know what the actual truth is. But rumor is boosters(other than Haslam) took it upon themselves to talk to Gruden thinking AD would fall in line, but that didn't happen. Again, that is rumor. Only Gruden and those involved know the truth.
