One was 59 who flew from South America, her husband covid +, ignored her symptoms for several days and flew anyway.
69 end stage renal. The family threatened no less that 3 nurses. Has to call several codes silvers on the family and have certain members escorted out.
45, heroine OD, he's probably already passed.
68 Covid rule out. Coded x 2.
We all left this morning drained, physically and mentally.

Definitely 1, the other no.

Edit: they are ruling out the OD and the sepsis case so I really don't know how that will transpire.

Sometimes I bet you regret answering.

Sometimes, it calls up allot of pain for the families I feel because they can't come and mourn at the bedside. I feel it, it's not like a coat you can take off and put back on when you want to.

Eli Lilly's bamlanivimab (monoclonal antibody) has received Emergency Use Authorization but is in short supply for now. The treatment acts to neutralize CV19 by binding to the spike protein and preventing attachment and entry into cells. It is given IV and is indicated for outpatients age 12+ with risk factors for progression to severe disease (such as obesity, immune conditions, chronic lung disease, asthma, heart conditions, etc).

Amazingly, it was developed in only three months after isolating the virus.
