I don’t know how they will do it but here in Norfolk Northam set a no alcohol could be bought or sold after 10pm mandate . But he’s a dik... so there’s that .

For masks to work, everyone has to wear them. Can't you understand that? I cannot say that you are absolutely spreading covid. But I can say that some of the people who do not wear masks are absolutley spreading it. They are far more likely to transmit the virus than folks who wear masks. That is not debatable. It is a known fact.

Imagine comparing a virus with a 99 % survival rate , that only affects the unhealthy and ones with a weakened immune system at a 94% survival rate , to an all out bombing of a City .

I've spent some time tonight studying the transmission pattern across much of the northern hemisphere, comparing countries and states that have taken differing approaches. One thing that appears strangely consistent is that CV19 behaves very much like a respiratory virus. Weird.

Fortunately, the only thing that we know conclusively to work appears to be right around the corner, in the form of a vaccine that will be prioritized to the elderly/at-risk.

He/She's already made it obvious that he/she knows more than me, many of my friends and colleagues, and the prior studies on mask efficacy from the past 15-20 years.

Everything will not be ok if you keep shutting businesses down. You take down any part of the medical supply chain due to other industries not being allowed to stay oper as tional and your whole house of cards comes down.

Thanks for your input. Glad to see someone actually looking through medical literature rather than Twitter or some random anecdote. Obviously these are tough times, but being able to objectively analyze rather than be thrown by emotional appeals is a rare trait.
