2020 Presidential Race

Maybe the point regarding college loans should be the ridiculous cost of attending college. I don’t think it makes much sense to complain about “fairness” when one attended college 20 or 30 years ago.
Decouple the govt from the loans and even allow them to be discharged in bankruptcy. Bet those applications get a little more scrutiny

That single error alone is about 10x larger than we’ve seen in other recounts in the past. 2000 FLA was only what 500?

And we also have two 2000+ vote counts not being counted. Granted those were votes for both candidates and on the surface don’t appear nefarious but I’d guess GA being the “gold standard” on conducting elections is probably no longer a valid proclamation 😂
Ironic that gold standard is now Florida

I’ll tell you one thing, these people better hope they’re right. The backlash they should rightfully get for being wrong will be career-ruining. And this goes for everybody from Trump on down to local election hacks.

they’re making some bold claims so if they’re wrong I don’t think it will be forgotten. I still think there as things that need answered. I’m fine if the irregularities can be explained. I’m not ok with no answers.

Not sure, but I find it kind of funny, looking back at how no one gave a damn about racking up air miles on the govt dime, back in the day.

edit... OK. had to look it up. Yes, funny!

So, can you talk to your buttface friends who are Biden supporters and see if they'd start joking on his gaffs and many controversies as well?

The best of intentions and what not. Gov needs to stay the hell out of people’s finances all together. Student house and whatever else.

I'd say give it another month, and that will be more likely. In the meantime, I'll entertain the thought that they are potentially funny.

it's a start

So? You think forgiving this debt will make the costs go down? Hell they were rewarded for their BS inflation if it’s forgiven! These people were adults they need to act like adults abd handle their debt.

As a parent of a kid heading in that direction, I would rather take out a second mortgage than let him get saddled up with student loan debt.

My point is, every year or two, college tuition continues to climb and wages stay relatively stagnant. So you force people to do something they would otherwise never do...just to help the kid get started out on the right foot. In 1970, you could work part time and put yourself through school, that’s not really possible anymore.

Serious question, just curious.
Would you agree that just if they are right, the backlash from the other side will be career ruining from Biden down and everyone involved?

We wouldn't mind if you did for about 5 minutes.

You coming at me, bro?

j/k

just because you and GV finally got your old man mercy Xanax, doesn't mean I did too.. yet

One thing I know for sure, is that too much time on here is not good for anyone. I think everyone can attest to that.

If I still have my sanity in a few weeks, and I'm still around, I'll show up in the OT forums more often.

PJ proposed a workable solution I agree with. Just do away with Fed garanteed loans going forward then but to insert themselves now after so many have paid off their loans is complete BS.

Your point about taking out alternative loans instead of fed guaranteed student loans makes sense. But life isn’t fair and for the gov to wrongly elevate some kids who made poor choices completely disenfranchises the kids that agreed to the loan terms. Either leave it alone or twilight the program while holding the loan takers accountable makes sense to me.
