lol was trying to ignore as well, but I’d wager he has better shot of hitting one down the line than a perfect bunt. He can’t run so pitcher is still in play.Not to mention the obvious point being missed
It’s not exactly easy to bunt major league pitching to a specific place. “Bunting the ball down the line” isn’t close to 100% success rate.
