What I really need are just the lids (flat parts, not even the bands.) I don’t reuse those for preserving, just for storage.Mom and Dad couldn't even find any.

I’m impressed that we only had one seal failure, and that was operational error (a Certain Person didn’t get all the tiny food chunks off the top of the glass.) We just stuck it in the fridge once the jar cooled down and ate it first.
So far, no deaths, no botulin poisoning.![]()
