Is your guarantee inside info?

I wonder how many of the players and coaches are paying attention to Volnation.com.
In this context I’m sure he’s talking about the multitude of Vol fans.

Not so sure that's correct about Chaney. He wanted and recruited Jacob Eason and then Jake Fromm back to back years. Then started both. He ended started Fromm over Justin Fields, which ended up losing Fields for that reason. I don't buy the part about Chaney not wanting HB, he is very similar to Eason and Fromm. I hope to god we don't have to deal with JG another year, I can't take another year of him. I think Shrout is probably gone and doubt Mauer ever contributes, muchless ever becomes a starter. But Salter will definitely have a chance. Think by fall we only have HB, Salter and could see us searching for a grad transfer QB for security if nothing else. But based off Chaney's most recent and past QB recruiting, HB is definitely his type QB. Never believed the Chaney didn't want HB talk.

1) Don’t think Chaney really had much to do with Eason. He was an early enrollee about a month after Kirby too the job.

2) You’re absolutely right about Fields. Unless it was Kirbys decision then I think it’s preposterous to claim Chaney prefers a running QB. If he did Fields would have gotten more playing time and CFB history would have changed.

I guarantee JG will not be back next season. Hell why would he want to take the abuse of Volnation another year? And I'm one of those who believe he has no business starting. He isn't staying a 6th year.
He will be asked to come back by his coach. And he will accept.

When has this staff shown any inclination to start a true freshman QB?

What has this staff shown any ability to get a freshman QB ready to start in the SEC?
It’s not just this staff.
It’s the last 4 staffs. we can’t hire coaches apparently

Answer the question instead of assuming you know better. Your stance is his offers stopped prior to becoming an elite 11 qb, correct?

It’s an irrelevant point. Plenty of guys get offers after they commit. Your conjecture about Maurer is duly noted.

It’s not an irrelevant point when you called me out on saying that Cheney recruited BM while at UGA. YOU brought this on and now you want to call it irrelevant? Naw man. Answer the question. Do you think BMs phone suddenly stopped ringing after committing to UT, being named to the elite 11 and placing 5th at the Opening? Simple question.

Kaidon Salter is most likely going to be the starter for the 2021 season, as long as Chaney is still the OC. My thinking behind this is at Chaney's previous stops as OC he went with the young guy he recruited to develop him and played him early. I do not think there is a realistic chance JG comes back next year (thankfully) and Chaney did not want HB to begin with IMHO. Chaney recruited Haynes King but was unable to land him, so he settled with keeping HB. Chaney likes the dual threat QB's better which is why I think Salter will be the 1st string qb next year, so Chaney can develop and run with "his guy"
what DT QB has Chaney ever played ? Bray , Eason, Fromm were all pro style so was Allen at Arkansas

He started Fromm over Fields at Georgia because he was told to. Kirby is stubborn just like Pruitt and he made that call.

You are assuming Chaney will still be the man.... Hope not...
