I don't understand some of the things Pruitt does. It's not just this but last years first two games and it's preparation of lack thereof as an example. Idk.Gaddy was quoted as saying coaches were telling kids with a Covid year they would rotate a lot and be ready. Kids were grinding and then guy comes back from quarantine and boom right back into his place. Also, practices were VERY LIGHT. So a lot of disconnect and not much leadership. They have lost the faith of these kids. Can’t tell them one thing and do another. Said this year was different than way it has been as far as competition. Sounds like coaches had a throw away year and lost players as a result. All makes sense with what we know.
It's definitely partly your fault. @InVOLuntary and @utvols88 definitely share that blame with you.So we have reached the “it’s the fan’s fault”. This is always entertaining
You are leaving out the Part he doesn’t want it to happen now
Like I said it’s blown out of proportions it’s just a comment about having a fall back option and it’s one we all have know because it’s obvious.
I’m not defending Pruitt I want his ass gone but that quote from Hubbs isn’t significant in the least imo

It’s so simple that it’s infuriating. The administration finally has an easy pick for head coach with proven success in the SEC who wants to coach here. It’s a no brainer. We almost immediately become an 8-12 win team every year. Fans and boosters are happy from winning. Administration is happy from increased attendance and extra funds to spend on academics. For once UT, get something right!
I have said for a while Pruitt doesn't care about this year. Maybe he thought the season should have never happened? Maybe he's givenup totally? This is reminiscent of Dooley's tenure when he was basically begging to be fired to Hart.Gaddy was quoted as saying coaches were telling kids with a Covid year they would rotate a lot and be ready. Y’all ‘member when ole Chuckie had some concerns because cornbread never seemed to wear an orange shirt early in his tenure and I suggested that maybe he wasn’t really embracing Tennessee like Tennessee was embracing him? I ‘member.Pruitt wasn’t even wearing a Tennessee shirt at his press conference today
I’m actually just venting my frustrations. I only meant that there’s no way he gets let go this year and doubt it until after next season anyway. He keeps himself afloat with an 8 win year next season but I just don’t see thatMan come on. You’re acting like he is in year one and the team is only Butch players. This is year three, mostly his players, and they look worse than year one. Everyone has a right to want him gone. Anyone can see it is over for him.
I was venting as well, homie. And I agree with everything you said in this post. I’m not defending the man. I’m still not sure where a lot are getting that I’m trying to carry water for the man. I’m pissed the f*** off like the rest of you. I was referring to those that are attacking his character was really what I meant.Homie, let people vent. It's healthy for some people. I mean power to you for thinking that way but we have all seen this before. You can't blame anyone for being done. There's a 1% chance Pruitt gets things where they need to be. The team isn't even playing with passion or anything anymore. And I'm sorry to break this to you, I doubt many of "Pruitts" players will even be here at this rate. He refused to play many of them all season long for some reason even when they're supposedly the more talented players. You have to play the best players or the team will see how full of **** you are and turn on you quickly. I suspect the truth is, if we had a competent HC we'd be a lot better off this season. Way more talent than Kentucky and Arkansas. If you want to use the roster excuse against Bama and UGA, fair enough. But you can't for GA State, BYU, Arkansas and Kentucky

Nobody gets a “throw away year” there are a hundred other teams playing hard just like it’s a normal season. That’s ridiculous on Pruitts part.Gaddy was quoted as saying coaches were telling kids with a Covid year they would rotate a lot and be ready. For a top ten paid coaching staff, this is unacceptable.Gaddy was quoted as saying coaches were telling kids with a Covid year they would rotate a lot and be ready. it's not moving anywhere except in dan's mentions and DM's and likes, which is why he did that. jeez.Maybe so. I hope it stirs the pot a little bit. I also saw Dan Harralson tweet out the contract numbers yesterday so the conversation is at least moving somewhere.
