I am trying to figure out what Pruitt wanted that he has not gotten? It appears that he has gotten everything he has wanted except players. That is not the administrations fault.

He has had numerous assistant coaches who got massive raises when they came here. And he was allowed to fire a coach mid season after only a few months on the job and cost us a million dollars. Fact is Pruitt is in over his head. Hire a proven coach and watch how all politics seem to go away.

If we’re gonna fire pruitt
Freeze is whatever IMO, I remember when Chip Kelly’s was supposed to be a big hire and that’s what freeze reminds me of

Chip went to the NFL and stunk it up. Freeze is 7-0 at Liberty. Big difference imo.

sorry man, but this is coach-speak and soundbites ... This team has clearly regressed in just about every position group. There is no fire or seemingly desire to win from the team and the Staff at this point. Pruitt is just going through the motions. Show me where he's gone above and beyond making an effort to get this team back together and show me where he's made a point to do everything he can to put the best talent on the field and put these kids in the best position to win... can't find it. (that would be a coach who really wanted to be here and lift this program up) We've got as much or more talent than the teams we've played this season and you'd never know it. These kids are not being properly developed and it's obvious. The head coach looks like he doesn't want to be here and the staff is in over their heads.

Freeze has proved himself at multiple stops. Kelly was a one hit wonder.

Freeze isn't a second tier guy. He has freaking Liberty at 7-0 and just beat VT. he was the guy that beat Saban twice and made noise in the SEC at Ole Miss. He's a proven winner.

Urban Meyer is Gruden. He isn't coming here and never would.

I love the enthusiasm, but it’s like Texas hiring Herman. He’s not great but they literally went out and got the biggest name that was very realistically available. Freeze is that dude. I think we all just want to go after the biggest name that we could reasonably bring here.

Possibly first choice hires is my guess. Rumors were he wanted Freeze as OC, but wasn't allowed. Wouldn't be surprised if there were other hires that were similar. We all would love to get Bo Davis and/or Tosh Lupoi, but it wouldn't surprise me if admin resisted because of their previous troubles with the NCAA. I'm not an insider, so that's just a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
