I’ll never understand coaches that are really good at play calling a side of the ball giving up those duties before your set and it’s like riding a bike.
Harbaugh gave up play calls way too early and to a guy that never called plays. Gus wasted years letting others call plays and just micromanaged everyone that he let call plays making it worse than just acknowledging who he is and what his offense should be built around a running qb not a pocket guy. Pruitt giving up play calling after one yr made no sense to a guy that never called plays. Could keep going down the list.
Do you think they get considered this year if they go undefeated? I don't think they do but some numbnuts will claim that they should be in the conversation.
Big time. And so can Herm and Fickell. Any of those 3 would be upgrades imo. Also they all have head coaching experience which probably will be the downfall of Pruitt. Jmo
He was able to recruit (cheat) well getting players at Ole Miss, but he still had far less talent than Bama and did well against them. He would win a national title at a bigger SEC school like Auburn or here.
After much thought and prayer, I’d like to announce I am decomitting from Jim Harbaugh being a top 5 coach in CFB. Please respect my decision. No interviews.
That would be fantastic if Pruitt and UT mutually part ways and he goes to NFL as a DC before things get ugly here. Need to nip it in the bud quickly. Just like we fired Butch a year too late, we can't do the same here. Then we swoop in and get Freeze.
(This will never happen we aren't that lucky and stable financially but I can dream)
