2020 Presidential Race

Sorry, but I’m going to take the president’s undemocratic tendencies seriously. I’ll believe he’ll put the country’s interest over his own when he does it for the first time.
This is your choice.

I will choose to believe something more likely and more comforting.

What would be putting the countries interests over his own in your opinion?

I look forward to whatever reaction comes.

Watching liberals riot is becoming so commonplace inside urban cities people just expect it now . When I start to see Republicans, conservatives and people that aren’t normally invested in politics forming up , I’ll be concerned. Until then , it’s just another liberal mob letting their emotions override their logic .

Negative, Ghostrider.

I am objective about this president, this election, and the past behavior of presidents transitioning. I don't have a dog in this fight. All I can do is try to assure you, the transition will happen as it always has. Maybe there will be a court case or two. But there will be no coup. There will be no dictatorship. No martial law. FYI, the same things were said by the most deranged about Obama. You're simply on the other side of the fence now. It feels real to you but it isn't.

Obama openly committed to a peaceful transition. He would even wax poetic about it’s importance. This turd hasn’t signaled anything of the sort. I can’t recall a president before trump who wouldn’t commit to a peaceful transition, mainly because they understood why they took an oath to uphold the constitution.

That’s totally fine. I don’t expect him to concede before states are called.

Then what is all teh fuss? There is literately nothing Trump can do once the results are certified whether that be through the courts or EC. Come noon on inauguration day Trump will have no choice but to leave the WH peacefully.

I choose to believe neither candidate will put country before everything else. Whether it's their own wants and needs or their parties, what does it really matter? It's not the needs of the country taking priority.

Meh. Biden is a quintessential do-nothing politician. I don't believe one word of his campaign "promises". Now when he is replaced by Kamala...that might be interesting.

I think if Biden does win he will carry the Senate and House, all Biden will be doing until after the 2022 midterms is signing whatever they put in front of him.
