Covid is being used as a political tool to incite fear in the sheeple and hurt Trump. I really don't want to hear about it anymore. We as a country just need to learn to live with it. If you are well, go out and live your life. If you get sick, stay home. If you get deathly sick, go to a hospital. Simple as that. The latest death rates I've seen are anywhere from 1 to 4%. I'm sure that's mostly for the elderly and those with preexisting health conditions. Can we just move on already?

It'll actually be this:

Biden won't take over till Jan 20th. By then vaccinations will have begun. The availability of vaccinations will actually pick up and be quite brisk. Biden will take credit for how quickly they are disseminated. Consequently, cases will plummet and he'll take credit for solving the problem.

In reality they'll be disseminated quickly and efficiently due to the groundwork Trump set in place and in the end the only thing that'll solve our C19 problem is vaccinations. That's it. Remember this post

The primary purpose of the masks is so true believers can be distinguished from non-believers, and so the true believers have heretics to blame.

No evidence linking lower mask wearing rates to higher transmission. Everyone knows it is due to more and more people not being able to hide in their homes any longer. Everything would be fine if everyone just wore a mask. Just another quasi religious edict to help the never-deathers sleep at night.

The hilarious thing is that the supposed link between wearing a mask and not getting sick has been debunked a thousand times in this very thread.

Then you've got somewhat interesting things like Fauci writing a paper a decade ago essentially saying in the 1918 pandemic masks caused big numbers of bacterial pneumonia infections and exacerbated the pandemic here.

So goofy.

Correct terms really are a probably for you. Confirmed cases is about 80,000 per day.

Infections are anywhere from 4x to 10x that daily.

My girlfriend’s son tested positive so we have to quarantine and go get tested Thursday or Friday. If positive we quarantine for 10 days if negative the full 14. Our first contact was last Thursday when we met up with him, his girlfriend, and her parents in pigeon forge so he could propose. Guess we’ll see but so far everyone is doing fine with if anything very mild symptoms.
