$150,000,000 a day. Just incredible. And, many of those are performed as routine on healthy people, for a virus that almost never causes serious illness in young people and does not warrant treatment unless a person is hospitalized.

Just think how far that money could go toward public health if applied to hunger, homelessness, smoking prevention/cessation, abuse prevention/protection, nutritional counseling, mental health services, cancer screenings, etc.

It truly has been a sight to behold to watch the fear spreaders go from omg we are all going to die in waves, to focusing only on the positive test results now and ignoring the hospitalizations and deaths rates as they relate to the Positive results . I wonder if it’s dawned on them yet that every time the narrative is pushed about more positives without those spikes in deaths , the less lethal , percentage wise , this virus becomes for the population . I believe that’s what’s happened here , they gave us a really good government site that updates daily at 10:30am and people aren’t buying the political spin any longer when we can see actual results daily .

Trump talked about his son Barron having the virus. He said, “the doctors came in and told us ‘bad news, Mr. President. Barron has the virus.’” And then they told Barron and his reaction was, “What? I feel fine.” He never would have gotten tested had he not been required due to whatever policy is occurring. No symptoms.

It's yet another reminder that leftists care only about power, control, and their team winning over everything.

All of the BS about affordable healthcare, clean energy, protecting minorities- they're just political pawns, not problems they're interested in solving.

Aren't football players each getting like three tests a week to make sure that are safe to fight over getting a ball past the goal line? Of course, we just learned how stupid that kind of testing is, as you can apparently still contract the virus (or have a false-positive?) in the following days and concurrently have a record-setting performance on the field.

Imagine if each day, we spent $150,000,000 on a different inner-city neighborhood. How much different could those impoverished and crime-laden areas look after the past 8 months?

Alternatively, we could easily feed every hungry man, woman, and child with that budget.

Hell, we could probably accomplish both goals with that kind of money.

I corrected your original post which said .005%. It was wrong. It was .5% which you now acknowledge I then used the correct numbers for different days. The death rate right now exceeds 800/day and the infection rate is 80,000/day the standard generally accepted reporting

Yes sir . Then it will switch to , all the positive results without upticks in deaths just means we are working toward and getting closer to herd immunity. It’s like watching a comedy skit .

Pretty much. MSM will be onboard as well. Entire narrative will likely shift. Instead of total cases going back to Jan 2020, it will become active cases only. A few thousand active cases sounds far less scary than millions of cases.

Average rate of death is no where close to what you are suggesting. Right now there is a .7% mortality rate vs positives. So if we hit 100k that would be 700 deaths.

The highest number of deaths come from the redneck low education Trump humping capital of california. 3 of the top 5 are similar meccas with washington DC and illinois. That's right the tiny little city of DC is number 3 in deaths when compared to the rest of the nation.
