I know. Another qb thread. But I have a question for VN.

Right BM because I've seen how good i think he can be.

Bailey seems to have all the intangibles. Great size. 5 star out of high school. Just haven't seen enough.

Need Maurer to start now, while we continue to develop Bailey.

I want the top 2 going into 21 to be Maurer and Bailey with Salter coming in and challenging him.

Sounds worlds better than Dearth Guarantano, as you cannot be much worse.

IMHO Salter appears to be the most lethal of the bunch...i realize HS highlights are just that...but he has some wheels and a crazy strong arm.

I hope so. The more good QB's the merrier.

Can you all imagine how worshipped a good QB will be here after what we have been through?

Salter is definitely talented but imo if Pruitt does what he needs to do this year I feel our only options are the 4 we have now. And if whoever he goes with is showing improvement by year end he’d be stupid for hitting the reset button in ‘21. Salter will be 1-2 years behind.

Bailey has the best combination of arm and accuracy ( based on videos i watched) and has some ability to run.

It is ridiculous they couldn't get him playing time with the same scaled back playbook they used last week with JG.

Mauer has good legs and a good arm. I think accuracy is questionable.

The other two need to transfer out.

I like Shrout but his motion and release bugs me. Seems like he has a long wind up.

JG is a 5th year turnover machine that they have to scale back the playbook for. If he wants to keep playing he needs to do it elsewhere. Like the kid and he has taken a beating for this program but he is holding them back at this point.

Maurer actually has a stronger arm than bailey contrary to popular belief and if you compare HS highlights the accuracy is about the same as well.

Hard to get a reading on that answer. This is “assuming” he’s fully developed as well as the others being fully developed.
Don’t think we have a fully developed QB on the roster.

I think Bailey’s stronger. No one knows.

Impossible question... If they both fully develop there’s little or no difference. That means that each one has fully maximized their skill in college.

It thens becomes a question of availability which I think HB will give me more starts then BM ever would.
