"On September 26, France’s head of the National Council of the Order of Doctors warned that the country could be “overwhelmed” and the healthcare will be on brink of collapse by the second Covid-19 wave, if “something does not change.” France’s top medical figure, Patrick Bouet, told the state-run weekly Journal du Dimanche that the coronavirus’ second wave of infection was arriving faster than they thought of. The warnings come after French Health Minister Olivier Veran imposed abrupt restrictions in the Mediterranean city of Marseille, Paris, and several other worst-hit regions to stem the second wave of infections.

In a statement to the local daily, Bouet said that the coronavirus surge will pick up in three to four weeks, resulting in a widespread outbreak in the autumn and winter months if no immediate action were imposed to suppress the wave. In a shocking revelation, the top doctor claimed that France's health system will be unable to cope with the hard-hit caseload of the second wave and the medical staff available wouldn’t be sufficient for reinforcements."

Thank you for posting a graph that shows what I said. 2 months ago they hit new cases that were higher than their original peaks from the first wave, and nothing close to corresponding deaths.

Tell me, what do these geniuses you quote propose doing? Wearing masks? Shutting down schools? Closing businesses? If so, they should get refunds on their advanced degrees.

The best thing is he's citing the media that is also trying their very hardest to create tHe SeCoNd WaVe as if that's going to make us all suddenly cower in fear. Running away from truth because one is scared to be wrong is the worst form of cowardice.

Primary source data is sh*tty and drastically overcounts actual deaths from the virus and even that isn't scary in the slightest.

Reports: Wisconsin's Mertz tests positive for virus

Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz, who had a record-setting first career start Friday, tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, according to reports by the Wisconsin State Journal and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Both newspapers reported Sunday, citing sources, that Mertz had an antigen test come back positive. Mertz will take a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test to confirm the result. If confirmed, Mertz would have to miss a minimum of 21 days, according to the Big Ten's protocols for athletes who test positive.

Tell us why it's worsening. Please be specific. Testing is up, thus reported cases are up. What has happened to the mortality rate as a result?

I don't claim trackstar, I am. Worn a mask since last November and still got covid. Mind you, the pt was carrying a heavy enough viral load that several nurses in the room that day were sick within days of intubation him.

The more we test the more positive tests are found. Reporting positive tests is absolutely creating a needless panic. The way this virus is being covered is absolutely media driven

60k positive tests since yesterday, 339 deaths. 0.005 death %. Less than last month or the month before. You need to stop crying over this.

On top of that you've got half the state health departments double and triple and on and on counting if someone has multiple "positive" tests.
