I think Pruitt is a good defensive coach...one of the top tier in the college game. Probably below average for the SEC in running a program, new and learning on the job. He needs to leave the offense alone, and if Chaney isn't a good enough coordinator to successfully run the offense on his own, then he needs to be replaced ASAP. Having seen Chaney run good offenses here and elsewhere in the past, I lean towards him still being capable...but Weinke needs to go...and I absolutely cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME fathom why JG would ever take a single snap in this game or any this season for that matter....how can the coaches NOT figure out that regardless of how JG looks in practice,he is gonna suck in games.

How guys...how can they not already know that? If Maurer started today, I bet we lose by 14 or so and put up a good fight on both sides of the ball instead of losing by 31 points....again.

Said it before, if JG comes back next season and starts I will not attend or even watch UT football until JG or CJP are gone. He is so terrible in games...he can throw a deep post or "go" route down the sideline. Thats it. The only thing he can do....and all 3 other QBs can do the same. Smdh

The Pedo State vs Indiana game is whacko... I turned it off when Indy gave the ball to Pedo with about 1:20 to go in the 4th inside their own 20 and Pedo had a 21-20 lead.... now Indy wins 36-35 in OT.... I think lol... shades of Pig Howard vs. the leghumpers in 2014.

Have you watched any of our games? Our defense is terrible and you would think that a defensive “guru” would at least have that unit clicking in year 3

I don’t blame Pruitt. He believes in himself and took the job because he thinks he will win. From my prospective it’s becoming obvious he’s too stubborn to learn from his mistakes making it unlikely he’ll ever win at a high level here. The fault belongs to the university. And there’s no hope for the future there. The university of Tennessee has proven that they are worse at hiring coaches than the coaches are at winning. I don’t suddenly expect CJP to win anymore than I expect Tennessee to hire a better coach next time.

As Pruitt has shown his stubborn attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if JG returned for a 6th year and Pruitt repeated again "he gives us the best chance for success" comment.
