I am not much of a fan on the positivity number. Our nursing home can’t open to visitors since we have a positive rate of around 20%. I looked closer. Around 10 people a day are getting tested and 2 are testing positive. I live in a county the size of Rhode Island

That’s why when positivity rates start exceeding 5%, it’s an indication to really ramp up testing. Increased testing will then either confirm the high positivity rate or elicit a more accurate pattern.

Yesterday we had 80k new cases which is exactly half the 165k daily average of H1N1...there were also 1.3 million tests for 94% negative rate

Seriously, we should shut down all businesses, all schools, take everybody's car keys from them, and lock folks in their houses. The ones that haven't killed their families and themselves (if and when it passes) will be the strong ones left to rebuild our country.

The best deterrent for now is to Wear masks and socially distance. Concurrently hope a vaccine can be discovered, proven and then mass produced to create a potential safety valve

It took 90days to reach 1st million cases. Since then all most 8 million cases over another 180 days

New record yesterday. 83,000 cases in one day. s the scientists/medical community predicted it is coming back with a vengeance as winter arrived
