Only at running, which he's way better at. He's worse at all passing. He's 13th (out of 14) this year in QB rating in the league. He was 9th last year.

He has a higher ceiling, but so far he stinks.

He's not missing as many super easy throws, he has better touch, he recognizes blitzes, he feels pressure better, has better pocket presence, he goes through progressions more often, and he runs better. He's bad, don't get me wrong, but you can't watch them side by side and say Nix is as bad. QBR is like BMI, not always a good measurement to compare.

I love how the jets tanked for darnold, now they're tanking for Trevor. Going to turn into the browns of the last 15 years, keep drafting top QBs to play behind a bad OL with bad skill players bad coaches and a bad defense and wondering why the QBs keep turning into busts.

Trevor is just different but you're right too. They need to go all out on offense to at least have 1 legit half of football in the next 3 years...keep TL healthy and offense chugging along and confident...then shore up the D later.

TL feels like the surest thing in a long minute...maybe since Andrew Luck. Unlike Luck, TL just needs to stay healthy.
