What is a " War Daddy" ?

It should be an absurd suggestion for anyone in the SEC. I am not talking about a National Championship rebuild...just beating our lessers and competing for the division.
I can't argue that. I just know all rebuilds aren't the same, even in the SEC.

On average, Kentucky has a better team record than we have over the last 8-9 years. Some will not admit how bad we have been in the past 10 years and that hiring and firing a new coach every 3-4 years will not improve the situation. Go hide in a cave for the next 3 years and you may be surprised at the team you see when you emerge.
Butch Jones is the proof that you don't need to give a guy 5 years. Our program was worse when he left then when he got there. He arguably peaked at the end of 2015. That downhill slide after mid 2016 destroyed our program.

IMO opinion, rebuilds will vary depending on several variables. Not every rebuild should be expected to have a 3 yr time limit. Is 7 yrs too long? For us specifically, I freely admit I'm not qualified to answer, but in general I wouldn't rule it out off hand..

Arkansas can have a 20 game losing streak and be as good (or slightly better than us) halfway through Y1 than we are halfway through Y3.....

Even Butch Jones was fielding a far more competitive team in Y3 than we are...

Lord have mercy, can we agree to STOP mentioning BJ's name.. It's like he lives in some of your heads...

Hard to do when the new coach reminds the fan base so much of the last clown.

If there is a War Daddy board, Pruitt should have urinated on it then broke it over Weinke/Friend.

War Daddy board is the players the coaches felt played the right way against KY......Must have been a small board.

Actually it's not hard. It's up to the poster to choose his or her content.

No, probably not. He set a bar for ineptitude and unlikability that Pruitt seems hell-bent on exceeding.

Maybe, but I'm not ready to put him in that category yet...
Our feelings on his presence are inconsequential. The Administration couldn't care less what we think, and even if they did they are not in the position to replace him. IF they did they'd screw it up worse.

So...we'll compare him to Butch, and occasionally Dooley where it fits, for the foreseeable future.

7 years is ridiculous because your entire roster will have turned over almost twice by that point.

There are exceptions (Clemson being the biggest and most obvious), but programs that we know in hindsight hired the "right guy" start to turn a corner by year 3, if not sooner. Saban took over a dumpster fire and had an undefeated regular season/SECCG appearance in year 2. Bob Stoops won a national title in year 2. Jimbo won a conference title, BCS bowl, and top 10 finish in year 3. Urban won a title in year 2; Kirby won the SEC and almost won a title in year 2 (admittedly, those rebuilding jobs were nowhere near as extensive as Tennessee).
