Anyone who has played sports at a high level can see when a team starts to turn on a coach who continues to play the wrong player. Or players turning on a player. That is what I saw today. We had a forward on my college soccer team who was half as talented as one of my teammates. Our coach always started him and he scored maybe one goal in six games. I think our coach could sense our frustration from the arguments on the field and finally started playing the better player. He ended up scoring a goal almost every game the rest of the season. Coaches make mistakes but what coach Pruitt is doing is insanity. You have to move on and play the better player even if you feel like he is not ready. Our team is screaming that to coach Pruitt. And I don’t care about Treys tweet, coach could have easily asked him to tweet it.

There was 0 energy from players on both sides of the ball today. IMO NO ONE has any confidence in our qb on this team. He’s got to go. We’ve been handcuffed for years with this mess. It’s DEPRESSING

Our roster is still crap to be honest.... we have some good players but we have two high school wide receivers playing corner. Don’t think flowers has ever caught an interception that hit him right in the hands. We have low ranked no names as our best edge rushers. We have a running back starting at linebacker. Henry T is our only player that looks like he’d play on an elite team. Our OL isn’t playing well. Our RBs are scat backs. Our wideouts are all low ranked guys or freshman. We don’t even have a TE and the two use are low ranked kids who’ve barley played in 4 years. Then we walk know what we have at QB. A 5th year senior who is the worst player in UT history followed by 2 low ranked scrubs for backup QBs and we have one glimmer of hope that our 5 star freshman turns into an elite QBS. Bottom line is we have to recruit better and get some sort of pulse on offense. I’m out on Chaney and Weinke.

Recruiting has been good enough to see progress. In the history of college football, guys haven’t played positions they played in high school. Chief was notorious for turning RB’s into LB’s. Maybe they got more time to develop because we did have more talented depth.

The development at DE has been quite good. They got Taylor drafted pretty high, and Johnson and Bennet have gotten much better. They’ve recruited 4 stars in Barron and Joseph.

The OL talent has increased big time, but they probably aren’t being developed. 4/5 stars across the board.

They have very, very good talent at the skill positions. While Palmer isn’t elite, he’s good. Not many have a Jeudy or Ruggs on their teams. Pickens did nothing against us. I would like to have a more elite RB to go with Gray.

But, QB is the problem...and that’s a BIG problem.

QB, Line, Safeties, corners, LBs all need to be butt chewed. I swear if I see another uncontested slant route ima lose my mind

I think Bailey and Maurer are to exciting for Pruitt. We have never seen our team more energized than when Maurer played and Bailey looked more poised and talented in one series than JG. Pruitt is terrible at choosing the right QB and goes with the most boring and least talented over and over. I am losing hope that Pruitt is the guy.

I think he believes in being dominant on D and conservative on O. Sadly, we are only OK on D atm.
