What do we pay our staff compared to them? They look way better coached than us in year three.

To be fair, Odom had Briles to help him prepare for Lane this week. Arkansas may not be as good as they look right now, but they aren’t gonna be Chad Morris bad unfortunately.

I don't want to think about it. We started terribly last year and finished strong. Who knows, maybe we come out a different team after the bye week and Bailey impresses down the stretch. Or... they continue to start JG and we hopefully, by some miracle, get to 5 wins.

But does it get better this year, I've lost all hope after today.

This is year three. We should be competitive with every team we play. We should be beating the middle tier teams. Instead we are in dog fights with middle tier teams and getting blown out by the top teams. And today we were blown out by a very average team. We are regressing.

I felt the same after GS last year. Don't know. But I'm not optimistic. We need Bailey to be a dude.

To be honest, I hate the stupid pistol or whatever it is when line up in 90% of the time. Our offensive line is playing like crap when they were supposed to be our strength. The offensive coordinator doesn’t trust the qb to throw the ball so our plays are extremely limited and predictable. The defensive secondary is banged up and can’t cover a slant pass to save their lives. And worse of all, our head coach continues to play a qb that should never be starting. Did I miss anything?

Vol fans weren't the only ones saying we had one of the best, most experienced staff of assistants in the country.

Had to hear Pruitt complain a couple of weeks ago that we "needed to be taking more shots down the field". Today.... he's not a fan. Maybe he should at least consider the problems are coming from elsewhere.

I feel like we’re hurting ourselves trying to run pro style. Most high schools don’t run it, and our defense doesn’t get as many reps against RPO or Spread style offenses.

Who knows though, with how much youth we still have & how limited the off-season was we could see a totally different team after the bye week.

JG continues to be average and today highlights average isn’t gonna cut it.

I just watched the interceptions by JG. GTFO Pruitt. Receiver had a db all over him for the first pick and should not have been thrown. The second is flat out terrible. These excuses are Butch level and I am truly starting to think Pruitt is in over his head. We needed an innovative offense to compete with the big boys since they out talent us and we went with as basic of a scheme as possible. I love how it throws other players under the bus and benches them for one error, but JG literally costs us games and he keeps throwing him out there. I think the team is starting to turn on him and their lack of effort today may be just the start.

First of all, the first pick was too far to throw, but that was the designed primary WR. Second, as Jordan Rodgers said, the snap was late, which allowed the DB to recover. It’s supposed to be a quick rub to get the WR open. Poor execution and bad play call equal disaster.

The second pick, he had Gray open again underneath. People have poo pood him for checking down too much, and ironically, he threw a pick 6 when should have checked down.

I personally don’t think Pruitt has really offered many excuses. He’s been pretty darn honest in his 2 years. But they have to change something and just let Bailey get his lumps.
