Sunday practices are definitely being done to get guys ready
I think Pruitt has seen enough of the upperclassmen and wants the guys he recruited to start showing why he recruited them
We Have some good young talent on defense
This may be the new standard moving forward. Sit the starters and second string on Sundays and let the freshman and guys buried on the depth chart get a chance to learn and play on Sundays

I think Chaney comes out and stays run heavy to try to get our O-line feeling like men again. I can see us having success running the ball.

Oh, I agree Chaney will want to, but I just am not sure we will have a lot of early success because I expect them to load the box and challenge JG to throw. So I expect us to probably need to throw some on early downs to back them up.

Kentucky sports radio up here talking like we have nothing talent wise
Overrated oline
No WR talent
Rbs not as good as theirs
Defense not as talented as theirs
Gonna be an upset if they lose
Need to start JG but if he doeSnt March us down the field on the opening drive and score Then we need to look at other options IMO
Really need to keep UKs confidence down
Can’t let them get a lead
Delusion... the most powerful drug in the world

It's possible we were snake bit with qb's as you state but it's difficult for me to imagine we were that unlucky when others around the league have been able to develop qb's with similar ratings out of high school.

I think we'll know for sure with HB once he's given the reigns. Not being lazy as much as astonished we've struck out to the point we have, we're either unlucky as hell or struggle to evaluate/develop, but sure there's any other explanation.
we struck out on top notch qb's in the 2017 and 2018 cycle, to no one's surprise (except yours i guess?)because we sucked out loud and the state of our program at the time was that of "wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole".

last cycle with HB was the first time.........in a while.......we got a highly rated, well regarded QB that we targeted and recruited with purporse......

and we're on the verge of doing it again in 21 with Salter, and 22 with Simpson....

i think there's a lot of "prisoner of the moment" going on right now, and the extrapolations from it, that's what's astonishing.

We've basically driven the road this trip. Indian Shores is probably the best looking, to me out of all the local areas. Love how all of the palm trees are well thought out and placed. Way ahead of places like Myrtle Beach and Ocean City.

Went to Tarps n Springs yesterday and was hoping we would stay for dinner so I could get a good lamb gyro. We ended up not staying, but the place we went to, Guppies, was pretty good.

Clearwater Beach is great and voted almost every year best beach in the country but way too many tourist and crowded. Anywhere from Bellaire Beach all the way to Madeira Beach is great and less people and parking everywhere on the beach if your not staying on the water side. Also, try Anna Maria Island. Anna Maria has the clearest water I have ever seen in Florida. You can literally see your feet standing in the ocean. Siesta Key is great too if you want to go down a little bit south.

My Pinellas faves...in order..
#1..Ft DeSoto State Park
#2..Honeymoon Island State Park
#3..Caladesi Island State Park
#4..Pass-A-Grille
#5..Pasadena/Sunset Beach
#6..All the rest are pretty much equal, and I love em all.

But...I love the State Parks more because of the more natural feel of the beaches..which some people love and some hate.

All great places to visit. I'm moving back to Clearwater area in February. Can't wait to get back to Pinellas.

*whispers*

You can still run the ball well against loaded boxes.

Are you in East Cobb or in the city? The square is really nice and the Marietta Square Market is good. There are really good restaurants in the square like Spring, Thaicoon, and The Butcher and the Baker. There are also several bars. Kennesaw Mtn is good to hike up and there are lots of bike trails around.
How dare you not mention Marietta Pizza Company! Ha

It sucks Bc this staff has done a pretty good job of building a roster but the two weak at or thinnest spots are QB and Edge rusher.
I think you need to chill with the edge rusher thing. Pruitt has had 2 classes. That’s it. Baron and Joseph are freshmen and are already making an impact, in a season where they had no spring or fall camp. Roman just had a decent game as well, and he’s only a sophomore and didn’t play the edge in high school. Relax. Not every freshmen steps in as a Derek Barnett, and this a strange year at that.

Not astonished we missed out on top notch qb's but very surprised we weren't able to secure or develop back up options to a better degree. Surely you would agree our talent level at the position is very low.

I sincerely hope HB can either come in later this season or next season and improve that position for us, it will help immensely with qb recruits moving forward IMO. If he can't or doesn't we are in deep doo.

I never said we didn’t have bodies there or potential. When i mentioned it before i even said *yet*. But there’s no doubt about it our two weakest spots are edge rusher and QB no matter how you spin it or who gets what blame.
