At this point I think Trump's camp is trying to drive outrage over Twitter and social media seemingly trying to slow or stop the dissemination of the story, as opposed to what the story actually alleges. You're correct - there's no daylight between what Hunter Biden is alleged to have done and what Don Jr is alleged to have done. It's a wash. That's exactly right, both sides are filthy. It's just amusing that after four years of lies and scandal - suddenly we're all supposed to be outraged at a email with a highly dubious origin.
Heck, I actually think it's more than plausible that Hunter is a crackhead bag man for his old man but it's no different than the evidence and actions of trumps kids.
I'm looking for the daylight between these two syndicates and can't even find a sliver.
What evidence is that? I'd genuinely like to compare.
I can't wait to see it, though at this point - I don't need to see a raunchy drug and sex fueled video of Hunter to know that I'd never vote for him.
Maybe you can find something in here to help convince you that the trump syndicate has been pretty much doing exactly what they are accusing the Biden syndicate of, less the nepotistic grift of putting some of them on the governments payroll...

However, I think even the most anti-Trump among us would have to admit any tale of Trump corruption was quickly taken up and breathlessly reported on by most of the mainstream media, even if it had anonymous/dubious sources (Steele dossier, Trump's "losers and suckers" comments) or came from material that was leaked (Trump's tax returns).
Regardless of your political persuasion, it does seem like there's a bit of a double standard in how these stories are reported and presented. When it's an anti-Biden story, all of a sudden proper sourcing, or not reporting on stories that came from "hacked" material, seems to matter a lot.

“They are criticizing the vice president’s son for doing exactly what they are doing themselves,” said Martin Ford, a member of the Aberdeenshire Council in Scotland, which voted last month to approve a proposal by the Trumps to build a 500-unit housing development. “They are conducting international business here in Scotland.”
He would argue, and I would agree, that they treated him poorly from the jump. He brings some of it upon himself because of his rhetorical style, but it isn't like the media gave him breaks at first, then Trump treated them poorly, and then the media turned on him. And that isn't to say that it is the media's job to treat any politician "well" - it should be the media's job to treat them consistently though. I actually think the media has a love/hate relationship with him; for outlets like MSNBC and CNN, who despise him politically, he creates so much hate-watching that it's been great for ratings. He'd never admit it, but I bet deep down Jeff Zucker (who used to be buddies with Trump) actually wants to see Trump re-elected. Having Trump in office for another 4 years would be great for business. That's pretty reasonable. Someone pointed out that the tax document story that was broken by the NY Times was as a result of stolen or leaked info. They were right in that there's not much difference between that and the disallowed dissemination of Hunters crack pics.
As a side to Twitters confused and incongruent application of rules, I think that Trump has treated the media so poorly over the last 4.5 years - he's never going to get the benefit of the doubt with them.

Time and again, Trump’s children have blurred the lines of family, nation and business — essentially the charge the president makes against the Bidens as he battles a House impeachment inquiry focused on whether he improperly pushed Ukraine to investigate his political rivals for what he claims were shady dealings.
In the modern era with so many options to go as far as media consumption, a White House "press corps" simply performs a utility function. They are nowhere near as big of a deal as they were before the internet and this degree of media saturation, and its members are acutely aware of this. Therefore, they become performance artists. Calling someone like Jim Acosta a "journalist" is a bad joke and an insult to actual journalists. He's more close to Andy Kaufman than Walter Cronkite. Acosta, and others like him, play characters, except it's like the old days of professional wrestling and they want you to think it's real.If the MSM simply reported fact, wasn't driving an agenda, wasn't the liberal/progressive party's propaganda department, perhaps Trump might have worked better with them. Personally, when most of their snotty nosed brats in the WH press corps get started with their tirades, I think a plain old beating would be in order. Or in other words, if you want respect (especially from someone actually in authority), show some respect and a modicum of dignity.
I'll read them. In the meantime I'll ask this...
Are the Trump kids working for Trump Enterprises, or being paid millions of dollars by foreign oligarchs that are under investigation for corruption?
Has Trump gone on camera bragging that he's using US taxpayer $$$ to blackmail other governments into firing the prosecutors who are investigating the oligarchs that employ his kids?
Are there emails where Trump's kids are charging foreign agents for introductions to Trump?
Like I said, I'll read up, but can you tell me if I should expect to see evidence that is...
Seriosuly, do you even read the articles you link?
A summary of the second article, from the second article...
What a lie. Trump accused Biden junior of working for corrupt oligarchs and peddling access to his father. Now there is email proof of it. Trump accused Biden of using taxpayer $$$ to blackmail a foreign government into firing the prosecutor that was investigating the oligarchs that employed his son, which Biden bragged about on camera.
The article made a false equivocation, and you are as well by claiming that the evidence and actions of the Bidens are...how did you put it...? "... no different than the evidence and actions of trumps kids."

OK. Convince me to keep reading past the first one. It listed no improprieties or conflicts of interest whatsoever. It literally just made the argument "Trump's kids do international business just like Hunter Biden, and they're accusing Hunter of doing exactly what they're doing".
But that is an incredibly disingenuous summary, considering the conflicts of interest and what's coming out in emails now. Answer my above questions and convince me why the remaining articles deserve any more of my attention, considering the first.
Thanks.
Probably, you'll have to research it.
Or maybe just keep zooming into until you can focus on a tree that looks different instead of recognizing both sides reside in a forest.
