This line of argument is plain old, just flat out, freaking stupid.

What is sad is we have to preface everything with "any death is a tragedy" to avoid this "old people don't matter to you guys" argument.

You don't want to admit it, but that is literally all you have left. The statistics and numbers simply don't support the fear mongering and lockdowns. They just don't. The played out argument about feelz and appeal to emotion because a 89 year old died is supremely stupid, ignorant, dumb, and downright silly. I would even say it is disgusting, and you should be ashamed for doing it and politicizing it.

Of course nobody is saying old people don't matter. They do, but it is also absolutely true, she was 89. 89 year old people die every day.

Well fortunately that is true. It is also true that they are spreaders and therefore contribute to the 55,000+ new cases a day and to the 700 deaths a day

On the bright side, I guess this means he at least has some contact with one of his parents and they haven't totally outsourced his upbringing.
