The 3rd season as head coach. Lots of players with lots of playing time in his system. 5th year senior starting QB. Improved OL with more depth. 2 very capable RBs. Solid defensive backfield. Upgraded talent overall than previous seasons. How important and pivotal is this game for you as a UT fan for your thoughts on Pruitt? Many are all in. Many are not all in at all and are still skeptical. Many are on the fence. With UT getting boat-raced by UGA and Vols needing to get in the W column, what does this UK game mean? I think it's a must win. UT can't lose to UK. It's not what UT does. It's a measuring stick. Losing to UK should put any UT coach on notice.

The Vols should always beat Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina and MissourI. We need to get back to where we can be competitive with Alabama, Georgia and Florida. An average Vol team goes 4-3 against our annual conference opponents.

It’s a huge game because it’s an SEC game. Pruitt, staff, and team leaders need to get the guys refocused and move past UGA. There is no use in letting UGA beat us twice . I expect the team to come out pissed off and play very physical.

We should curb stomp Ky the way Ga did us last week.
Our Jimmies and Joes are better than Kentucky's.
The Bulldog's talent is among the top handful in the country.
The Vols are not even close.
I am amused by the orange goggled fan's reaction to the loss.
Recliner coaches are so much fun.

I have never believed that the outcome of a football game has an impact on the outcome of the next one short of the injury or disqualification of a key starter.

UT needs to win EVERY game that “supposed” to win. If they are favored, they should win. If they don’t, it’s a disappointment.

Since we aren't likely to beat any of the big boys on the schedule or Florida regardless of their talent level, it's a given that we simply have to take care of the lesser teams on the schedule. Been that way for what...20 years now? We haven't been championship caliber for a long, long time. It's been about making a bowl game instead of beating teams like UGA and bama. The talent/coaching gap between us and those teams is glaring.

Pivotal. You win the games you’re supposed to and do it at home. This is a game we’re supposed to win and I think we will win. Get ready for Alabama. This team has to learn to finish. They played a pretty solid half in Athens last week, capitalized on mistakes made by UGA. Made a few ourselves on the defensive side. Would like to know the adjustments, if any were made on the offensive line at half time Saturday though because they either looked lost or that defensive front Georgia had is just that good.

Bottom line, handle Kentucky like we should, get ready for Alabama to come to town and fight our arses off for 4 quarters with them. A Georgia loss Saturday to Alabama and the Vols are right back in the East picture. One loss doesn’t make the season but don’t let Georgia beat us twice.

They might start, but folks must have a short term memory. Our last coaching hunt was a sh!t show. And how do you recruit a bigtime coach if the fanbase calls for your head constantly?

Well if the coaches we hired would stop making stupid mistakes that gets in the way of winning, nobody would be frustrated with their results.

I expected this last Saturday, and they were bulldozed in the 2nd half. Coaches and team leaders have to step it up. i know Trey Smith is a leader. I think Henry T is, but who else we got. We need more. Tons of seniors finally, but I don't know what they are doing to push the younger guys along.

Although they won vs Miss St shooting down the Great Coach Leach's air raid with 6 interceptions, the Cats had 73 yards passing and 84 yards rushing(Wilson had most of this, 51 yards , on 1 run)

Over confidence is the only way we lose.

UK should not be pivotal because TN should win. Pruitt hasn’t lost to them yet.

The pivotal games this year should be Auburn and A&M. Since Pruitt won’t change QBs, I don’t see Bama or FL being pivotal games unless they somehow win.
