Thanks all. Not sure I'm entirely clear on this, or that anyone outside of DougAtkins91 is at this point, but it is adding some fun to the boards. And goodness knows we can all use more fun with our Vols after the last decade.

Mr. Atkins knows.

He's not talking, though.

You know how sometimes you drink one too many fifths of Jack, then you have to spend a week with your kids using the car battery to shock you awake every morning, and you mostly just sit around on the back porch listening to the wildcats fighting up in the hills, trying to get your head right?

We figure that's what Doug is doing right now.

He may come back soon to define it for us. Then again, he may come back and completely ignore all the excitement that has arisen around his famed post.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Go Vols!

I asked him directly to decipher but crickets. He’s been around but he has clammed up tighter than a camel’s ass in a sandstorm.

did anyone consider heroine or other opioid addiction? I heard that it's positively correlated to being a sunshine pumper.

All you need to know is that @DougAtkins91 risked permanent brain damage from excessive alcohol consumption, in order to ensure that only positive statements are posted on these forums, and his seal of certification can only be applied to posts that meet his standards.

Just ask yourself WWDA91D?

The answer is always "nite your post or don't post".
But, he's got followers 😆

Probably going to get slammed for this, but I think it's one of the dumbest things I have seen on VN in quite some time.

there are certain words in the lexicon which eschew definition. These words are ambiguous thus giving the speaker (or writer) vast contextual leeway. We see this phenomena with swear words, slang, and words which have been intentionally altered to be reclaimed by specific groups.

Nite, niteing, nited, et al is one such word. While originally coined by a single person, it quickly permeated our language by its rapid adoption by others. The adopters are not homogeneous; they can be found in all socio economic strata, schooling and education, and even among the serious and the comedic alike. While there remain steadfast adherents to a single definition, it is more widely accepted to mean whatever you wish it to mean.

I hope you have found my reply niteable.

You have definitely been working on your nite moves. You have points way up high.

Yes it is, but also why I love you guys because we all have those Nite moments . Just most of us keep it in the bottle. I know I have let a few out every now and again, but some times GOLD Jerry.
