Stop looking at it through a political lens and you may see it differently.

There was this elderly gentleman from church that has had several stokes in the last two years. He had a massive stroke in April and when they got him to the hospital he tested negative for covid. While his family waited almost a week before letting him go the hospital tested him for covid twice more. The third test that they gave him came back positive and they listed him as a covid death. I don't think they were trying to inflate the numbers intentionally, which it did , but I would be willing to bet it was for $$$.

Did you not see the example of a death certificate I showed you? They are. The problem is I’m dealing in fact and you’re dealing in assumption. Fact: all the conditions that contribute to death are listed on a death certificate. Assumption: hypertension and DM2 contributed more to someone’s death than covid. You see the difference? You can’t prove something that’s unprovable so you’re trying to skew it based on political views. Congrats, you’re just another fact-less clown.

Here is a situation: a patient is hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia and progresses to the point of mechanical ventilation and eventually death. Cultures came back negative for bacterial and fungal infection. During the admission the hospital performed an in-house covid test twice and both came back positive. A sample is sent to the DOH and it is ruled negative. The death is not ruled a covid death. It works both ways... but I’m not making blanket statements about inflated of deflated numbers, the political hacks are.

I love the idea of the government trying to mandate hygiene.

But they didn't survive covid. It kills people with risk factors.

Of course you do have one point. If a healthy person congregates with people not wearing masks and contracts covid and dies his cause of death maybe should be listed as ignorance.

Twisting words to fit your "cause of death" as usual. And as for the mask thing, am I to believe that most of the people that have died with covid did not ever wear a mask?
