Sorry to hear that about your Dad. Good advice about visits. Will pray for your Dad.Take your kids to see their grandparents as much as possible. My Dad has cancer now and it’s hard to take our son to see him because of Covid and just regular germ season beginning. Don’t take those visits for granted.
Nah, good post and I agree. Add Vandy, Arkansas and A&M with Auburn and Kentucky as games I think UT will more than likely win.Basically, the AP poll had us fooled.
Kentucky is bad. They’re likely about to start the season 0-5. They should’ve never been ranked (this is something literally every Tennessee fan could’ve told someone months ago)
Auburn shouldn’t have been higher than 20-25 to start out and probably shouldn’t be ranked after that s**t show of a game today. Their line of scrimmage is awful and they’re really missing Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson. And I know they beat Kentucky 29-13 but they did have to get bailed out of one touchdown, along with just getting lucky on some prayer throws.
Tennessee can and probably will run through both of these teams when they play. Not saying they’re for sure blowouts but we’ll control the LOS and could win big if we play our best ball.
Georgia won’t see another offensive line as good as the one they’ll see next week (and that includes Alabama). Their defense looks good but the offense was playing a very mediocre secondary and a young front 7 with 2 guys MAX that would start if they played here.
Idk who wins next week but thinking that game is gonna be an easy win for Georgia is just idiotic. I’m confident in Tennessee’s ability to win. And just to be honest.. I don’t think we’ve fully opened up the playbook yet. Our offensive game plan the first 2 games has been very basic and not like Chaney was doing toward the end of last season.
If Tennessee goes out and lays an egg, that’s a bad sign for this coaching staff. But that’s not going to happen. They’ll be prepared. Georgia fans are gonna spend the whole week on cloud 9 thinking this is an easy win, and maybe even the team will end up doing the same like they have been the past 2 years.
Anyways thanks for coming to my 2:00AM ted talk. Go Vols.![]()
Good post. I actually agree about the play calling, on both side of the ball. It just seemed very vanilla the past 2 weeks.Basically, the AP poll had us fooled.

It will be a necessity to get pressure on Bennett when he drops back to pass. We will have to play very disciplined on defense. If we can get consistent pressure on him, we will be right there at the end.I look for Pruitt to dial up some stuff for Bennett. Remember when Auburn 2 years ago was a guaranteed loss or how we played Bama last year even. I don’t think we’ll get blown out. We can run the football and this game still comes down to who can run the ball and who can stop the run.
I think Kivon and Deandre might be able to wreak havoc on Bennett off the edge. Georgia is big, but they are slow. Bennett is so quick. Unless Georgia helps at both ends, I think we can get to Bennett off the edge and force things. We need more size out on the edges. Explosive size.
Think Kivon Bennett quickness in a 6’5 265lb frame.
