Just because this tennessee team is led by someone who doesn't seem likely to see the NFL doesn't mean that any given Saturday this team cannot crush someone's spirits.. Georgia is subpar, Florida is only as good as two Kyle's go.. Double Pitts, blitz the ****.. You will all see a tennessee team that wants your love in these next three weeks.. Stop doubting our Boyz vol nation we are back!

We just sqeeked by a bad SC team and beat a Mizzou team that is just plain bad. Our D looks stout one drive then turns around and looks like paper tigers the next. Im not sold on our O yet either. The o line is much......MUCH better than in the last 4-5 years. But im not impressed with our passing game and any team with any true talent (2/3 of the SEC) could key in on our running game and shut it down. We aren't going to beat many teams with our passing game. Were better, but not going to compete for the SEC east. We are a distant third behind FL and GA.

Gus always seems to come up with something to create hope and save his job. He is lucky to dodge UF this year and may be able to find 6 wins to save his job. But, I agree that it is just a matter of time until AU runs him off.

where were you in 2013? I watched an auburn team go 3-8 the previous year.. Then I witnessed a football season to remember.. Am I wrong in saying this tennessee team could find some faucet of fate that blesses everyone in this horrible state with a reason to smile? Closed mouths don't get fed..

How can there be this much negativity concerning our chances next week. Our o-line looks like fantastic bull dozers, receivers are looking good while gaining experience, we have a really good one-two punch at running back, JG is managing the game and at times throwing some nice passes down field. The defense allowed 12 points to Missouri today. Our linebackers and d-line are doing well. DB's give up some plays but they are making plenty of plays too.
Georgia should beat us but I am not writing off the game. If we establish the run game we have a great chance.
Side note: I really wish we played Oklahoma this year.

Listen to what you say about JG. It’s so sad. We have to hope and pray our 5th year qb doesn’t blow it for us. We all know he won’t win it for us. So frustrating to be a vol fan. We’ve got a coach working his ass off and some special players. Yet we’re really bad at the most important position on the team. Sad thing is he’ll almost certainly be our qb again next year

Honestly I like our chances. Georgia has played Arkansas and a terrible Auburn team. We will know more about both teams after next weekend.

We know what he is at this point. Not going to beat that horse with a stick. I just want him to connect on some deep balls, not turn it over, throw for about 200 per game, and run a little. We are not really bad at QB right now. We are average IMO. He will be the QB again next year. Some will likely expect him to look like Peyton next year and they will be complaining again. I expect him to just manage the game and for us lean our on strengths. To say he is really bad so far this year is just not accurate.
I also never said I hope he doesn't blow it for us. You might think that but I don't feel that way. He might not alway win it for us but he doesn't go out there and lose it for us.

Our o line looked good. Running from the pistol and shotgun is new. I prefer 22 personnel. Young revivers looked solid. Defense looked good. Didn’t bring a lot of pressure and sat back in zone most of the game. DBs played well for the most part. Lots of guys playing in new positions. UGA looked bad until Auburn imploded. I like is to win by ten. Defense is going to surprise a lot of people next week.

Should be a 3:30 game next weekend. We will move up in rankings after several losses in front of us. Florida and A&M will be a 12 game most likely because they got blown out today.

The OL is hardly recognizable from the ones we've had for the past several years. Opening holes for the run and good pass pro seem to have let JG settle in and just manage the game. He made several great throws today.

My biggest concern is the secondary, so hopefully we'll be at full strength on Saturday. We will have to get after their QB, or their receivers will have a big day.

It will be a nice test to see just exactly how much we have improved.

Bulldogs looked good tonight solid D. QB can hit receivers on the run. Will take a near perfect called game from our OC and almost perfect play from JG. NO MISSED FG wonder what is going on with him this year ? Special teams need to be special next Saturday afternoon no missed opportunities to put points on the board . If the Vols can keep it close to the 4th quarter they might pull the upset.

IDK what to think about the next game. I’m optimistic we are talented enough to be competitive and not get embarrassed by Georgia. I also believe if we win the turnover battle we could beat Georgia. If Georgia is good enough to neutralize our OL strength then I believe we are in trouble and may lose decisively.
