His mechanics don’t worry me in the least. He’s never going to be Joe Burrow and that’s ok.

Fix between the ears and we got a 6-8 game winner this season and game 1 was a huge step forward in showing that has improved greatly

Biggest difference I noticed was that he was actually throwing at the open guy, just not hitting them. Seems like he wasn’t even seeing those guys before.

We will see I hope its just a blip but how are they going to handle it? Postpone the game? Till when? It screws everything up. Way to go Titans you twat waffles.
Oh just that. It only said closed til saturday. Could still play. And it's only 2 teams so "meh". If they cancel 1 game, not that big a deal. But I bet they play.

Give Steelers and Titans a bye week this week and make the game up week 7 during the Titans bye week. Reschedule Steelers vs ravens for week 8 when both Steelers and ravens were scheduled for their byes.

Problem solved

Extend the season by a week is another option

Personally I think the NFL should have given all teams a bye week November 15th weekend so they could have rescheduled any Covid makeups then.

Plus it’s masters weekend so I would’ve appreciated it.

Sort of related... Manny Diaz recently said he doesn’t trust their bye week. He thinks nothing good will come from those guys left to their own devices. (re: keeping Covid under control).

Today is a good day. I have learned that when a QB throws way over the head of open receivers 8-10 times in a game he doesn't have mechanics issues. Even when it has happened for 3+ seasons, he's good to go because he now sees that they are open for maybe the first time.

Waiting to learn more.

Anyone else underwhelmed by our OL vs uscjr?
I will say that Mushdumps strategy going back to the Dobbs years was to make us pass to move the ball. He has always sold out to stop the run against us because of our QBs deficiencies at being consistently accurate, and it has worked more often than not.

It should be fairly obvious to even casual observers that is exactly what is happening when SC jerseys outnumber UT jerseys on nearly every running play at the point of attack.

If JG just hits half those wide open third down throws he missed..we blow them off the field.

Different game, same sad story, but I will say in his defense that he made some good throws on other downs.

We will never sustain drives as long as he does that, and the offense will always sputter.

i can say this...i really haven't cared at all about it. i don't think i've watched a full game yet.

hell, i haven't watched a full college game except the TN/USCe game....

this year is just weird.
You can definitely tell who doesn't do fantasy and draft king. It's a lot of fun and I don't need covid taking it away!

I am going to say again that Big Jim has to help him a little more on 3rd down. He is certainly earning his money. I just didn't like some of the third down calls, especially on 3rd and short.

What calls do you want him to make? Run it in to a stacked box? The routes were there the execution wasn't.

I documented it yesterday. I know it's not easy. But with a QB like JG, I am not a fan of a 15 yard pass on 3rd and 2 or a pass across the hashes (20 yards) on 3rd and 3. JG also tried a 35 yard pass down field to Keyton on 3rd and 6. Don't know if that was the correct decision or not. Just move the sticks.

The one rollout that was called, JG missed Keyton, so that's on him.

Basilio saying transfer vote will be Thursday.
Just give me an answer on Cade one way or the other already!!!

Hes a 5th year senior. He can either get it done or not. You can't keep the kid gloves on forver.
