I’m going to excuse him this game.... he was playing in his first game in a year and he was making big plays after not even knowing if he would be on the team. I think he will commit less penalties next week.

It’ll be mentioned in film study. If it continues then we can enact all the hothead edicts on here.

I didn’t see the whole game (brother in laws wedding) but it looked like JG didn’t even attempt to look off the defense on throws, I was hoping he would have cleaned that up.

I would like to see more runs called.

The OLine may end up being great- but they’re going to need to become more in sync.

Still some odd coaching decisions. Glad we got the win though.

Him and Henry can cover some ground. That’s for sure. Crouch is very stiff at the ILB position. He will get better as the year goes by. But, I dunno if he is ILB material....

Chaney has always been pass happy while at TN. He puts up points but I still don't think he helps out the defense with his calls.

JG was better than last year, but still.needs to improve. He still throws rockets when it calls for some finesse.

Glad to get the win, but we need to get better. This team has potential, but could go either way when we play better opponents.

Tooto is a beast. Banks made some mistakes, but overall I liked what I saw. OL played pretty good overall. RB's had a nice night but needed the ball more. Want to see some of the young WRs get a chance.

Playcalling was weird for a bit.

8 mins left in the 4th quarter. We’re up by 7 and have the ball at midfield. We threw the ball 3 straight times, went 3 and out, and only ran 40 seconds off the clock. JG did make a good pass that was dropped but still too much throwing at that point. Why not run? They couldn’t stop us consistently.

Despite Jeremy Banks having the two personal fouls I thought it was really good to have him in there. He knows what he's doing better than Q right now. Really need his experience and his talent at an inexperienced position. Glad he's back on the team!

From a fundamentals/throwing mechanics perspective, what causes throwing high/overthrowing receivers?

I pitched growing up in little leagues- it’s usually release point and follow through.

It’s called a double move.

I understand the move, but if you've juked the db to move to your left... wouldn't it make sense to cut back to the right (as the receiver did) and also then throw the ball to the right away from the db? Go watch it again. If JG had thrown the ball to the receiver's left, which is what some are saying should have happened since the receiver was initially looking over his left shoulder (which was a mistake by the receiver), then the ball would have been thrown back to the side where the db could still make a play.

Me too man, he’s like me he looses his cool easily. I love his energy though. He’s the man to line up beside HT imo. Pruitt will watch the film and address his temperament

Are you talking about the TO right before the punt? Go back and watch that again, I don’t think that was on Pruitt. Henry T was signaling the snap on that play and I don’t think they were supposed to snap it. He starts calling the signals and right before he reaches out to signal the snap, Pruitt jumps in with the TO in the nick of time. When the players go to the sideline, Pruitt points at Henry and clearly says, “What’s wrong with you?”

We should beat Mizzou like a drum, then laser focus on the Battle in Athens. UGA looked atrocious. Any team with an ounce of talent would have beaten them today. Huge opportunity for this team.

We are sandwiched between Auburn and Alabama on UGA's schedule! Auburn may beat em up...then they could overlook us, looking ahead to Alabama. This feels like a prime year to catch them.
