The Official #16 Tennessee @ South Carolina Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, SEC Network

As a TEAM, 3.4, 3.7, and 4.1 the last 3 years. If you take out the FCS and non P5 games, less than that...

Per PFF, we were the worst OL of all P5 schools in 17 and 18 (and bottom 10 nationally) and while better in 19, we didnt grade in the top 100..
But like todays game..we have .8 ypc as a team due to 3 sacks for -12 yards...has nothing to do with run plays....other wise 2.75 ypc. Big difference

Yall tired of JG yet??? Guys on the radio are all over his arse ....just like EVERY SINGLE former college or pro QB that called a UT game last year....and the year before...and the year before....

" he cannot keep throwing the ball LATE and BEHIND his receivers...."

How many times have we heard that on national TV??? How bout the radio???

Yall aren't EMBARRASSED about that? That every other team in the SEC manages to field a decent QB, but we end up with the same jackass year after year ???

I am SO sick and tired of hearing this about a UT quarterback. He IS NOT magically gonna be an accurate passer after what 23 years of NOT being an accurate passer? He is freaking TERRIBLE. FOR THE LOVE OF FOOTBALL..

Good grief...our LBs are responsible for just as many points as our QB...

I'm sorry but I'm not impressed with this oline. They had a couple good series but if the announcers are saying the gamecocks Dline is undersized then why does it seem like they are struggling against them? No excuses
I will give you the run game, but you cannot deny that the O-Line has not given JG plenty of time in the pocket.

I know people are pining for someone else other than JG, but Pruitt isn't going to sit him. I would be shocked if he did unless JG throws a couple of picks. Obviously Pruitt doesn't think Shrout would do much better and Maurer is dealing with a hamstring injury. I doubt Pruitt gets trigger happy after one half of football.

That’s completely false. He wants safety instead of points. He’d rather have no turnovers rather than points.
Well, if he expects no turnovers from JG, he better be prepared to be sorely disappointed. He already fumbled. Turnovers are a certainty with JG

Take out that one handed miracle catch by Johnson and the Vols have 97 passing yards so far.

Costello threw for 623 in his first SEC game.

Just sayin

When JG gets a couple more years of experience and really learns the offense and settles in.......

Naah. It’s not even funny to me anymore. I have reached the point where I am relatively uninvolved in the game. I watch for the humor of it.

I actually enjoy the humor in here and on Tony Basillio’s post game more than the game itself.

Not sure what that means, but I’m also sure I’m not alone.

Last sack the guy literally crawled to JG on his hands and knees and grabbed his ankles. Our QB is oblivious to the pressure and looks like he has the passing yips.
After 5 years he still has the “Deer in the Headlights” look. He’s done, nobody better come in here defending him. Let him be a true VFL and character guy on the bench. He never had the intangibles to be a good QB. NEVER!

JG had a bad end of the half but I don’t think he’s been as bad as some are making it out to be. He’s made good reads, got it out on time, but he has missed some throws. Some of his incompletions are on the receivers as well. On the bright side though. Defense has looked tough! Passing game needs to tighten up, and find a way to get the run going.

He has missed many, many throws. Sorry, but he has missed way more than a decent SEC QB should miss.

First down in the last drive probably cost a FG.
