Could have been better could have been worse considering we are missing 3 key players on defense. 14-7, on the road and get the ball to start the 2nd half isn't terrible for a team's 1st game in 2020. We've got to get Chandler and Gray the ball out in space.

Some of his incompletions are on the receivers as well. On the bright side though. Defense has looked tough! Passing game needs to tighten up, and find a way to get the run going.

Right now, USC doesn't have to worry about the pass, so they can concentrate on the run...

This and he has zero rhythm. He just does not have a clock in his head of keeping a beat and throwing the ball. He has 4 seconds, that's it, and he still is taking sacks. Saw a true freshman QB throwing the ball away today when nothing is open. It is rare to see Guarantano use that veteran option.

We have a better QB however, he is not ready. He missed half the spring because of Covid. We already see what only 1 scrimmage does to a team. No way we throw out a Freshman QB with very little knowledge of the playback or practice.

The one handed catch was a horrid throw. The dump to Gray was about as ugly as they come. After those two spectacular plays, JG settled into his normal mode of overthrowing open receivers, throwing into voids, and taking a sack.

He has truly turned the corner!!

As a 7th year Senior, he is gonna be unstoppable.

Some people may have laughed at your last sentence there about “7th year senior”.

But in all seriousness, does everybody understand that we have this year AND next year with him??? Nobody loses a year of eligibility this year and he’ll be back next year....and as we all know, Pruitt is gonna play him NO MATTER WHAT. He’ll be the starter this year and next as well....we got 2 damn seasons more of this guy. Jesus help us.
