Idk. We have the same options as last year except now we have Bailey, who has barely practiced. Is Shrout or Maurer improved? Idk. If so, I’m surprised they haven’t passed JG.
I believe the hype on Shrout ever since I saw that throw from the south end zone in Neyland to Callaway for a TD against the 'Cocks. Shrout will get a chance tonight and he needs to make the most of it

I don’t think we’ll have an elite defense by any means tonight but I do feel comforted that most of our starters and backups are returning with the same coaching staff. And we had a pretty good D last yesr
Yep. Regardless of QB, I feel we should be able to rely on the running game and defense to win today.

Anyone that’s watched any football this year knows offenses for sum reason have had a HUGE advantage over the defense..I don’t know the ryhme or reason but ppl are puttin up points left and right.Defense probably harder to learn, more time on the field,Less camps, practices etc injuries. Then u toss in the covid bs.

I think several factors are causing this with EE's being a part of it, gives skill players more time to learn the playbook.

i want a HUGE plate of crow, i want it BAD
It's not so much that I believe in our QB as much as I believe in our coach's ability to develop and teach.

If not JG, then Shrout, Mauer, or Bailey...

I think there's a good chance JG takes a Justin Worley-type role this season. He's a good kid but he's limited. His leash will be short this year.
