You are a skeptic about anything outside the mainstream. Nothing wrong with that. I tend to be more of a contrarian. I still judge everything I read and don’t believe much of it, but there is some very good stuff outside the mainstream if you wish to sift through it. With regard to my brain, I’m not waiting 10 more years until this research becomes accepted.
Bredesen has published multiple papers on the treatment, including case outcomes of 110 patients. The book came later. I have been on the program for 9 months and have already seen significant improvements in cognition.

Primum non nocere is Latin for first, do no harm. Jumping onto fads or trends can be dangerous for patients. Look at all the fast tracked weight loss drugs and the resultant deaths, then the drug is withdrawn from the market. Rinse and repeat.
Still not bashing your book because I haven’t read it. Doesn’t carry the same weight as a medical text. Otherwise, it would be one. If you want to make money, you publish in the mainstream. If you want to advance the medical sciences, you publish a medical text.
