You can "LOL" all you want but I consider any attack on our Democracy exactly that - reckless. Trump has done his best to invalidate the election before it even takes place by spewing absurd conspiracy theories - this is the very definition of reckless behavior.

Several military ballots cast for President Donald Trump have been recovered after federal authorities opened an unspecified investigation regarding mail-in ballots in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Per the statement from the US Attorney, someone reported it on Monday and they checked it out by today. The US Attorney also said it was a small number of ballots, not sure why that is being left out of the headlines posted.
In a perfect world, no ballots would ever be lost. The good thing is they found them.

Small numbers end up to be large numbers and I wouldn't say they were "lost". It isn't a coincidence they were ALL from members of the military.
