Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

Way to galvanize and wake up the sleepy Joe voters

Lol RBG dies and the left thinks the best way to respond is by sending more money into the DNC and threaten to burn down the system if things don’t go their way after spending 4 years calling the right and Trump every bad name that’s ever been thought of ? I’m interested to see how this strategy works out .

Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Death Revives Talk of Court Packing

The term is commonly associated with President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who pushed legislation in 1937 that could have expanded the Supreme Court from nine to as many as 15 justices. The history is more complicated than the usual narrative suggests: Mr. Roosevelt, aiming to push older justices to step down, wanted to add a justice to the court for each sitting justice who refused to retire after 70.

I just learned (on Facebook, of course) that RBG was Jewish so saying things like “rest in peace” or “she’s in a better place” are culturally insensitive, Christian phrases that have no place being directed at a Jew.

This is the kind of politically correct garbage that bothers me the most. I bet that RBG herself wouldn’t care, but a bunch of Karens have decided THEY would take offense and pretend that they were in a position to speak for the deceased.

So, Rest In Peace, Justice Ginsberg. May you find yourself in a better place now.

If a nomination gets pushed through and then Dems take the senate and the white house, the SC will be expanded to 15 seats with 6 confirmations for Biden. This is next logical step in this game. Soon the SC will be bigger than congress.

I'm totally shocked that you didn't know "ginsberg" is basically the "jones" of jewish last names.

Culturally insensitive? Here's a little advice: stay away from FB and those kinds of places. You're liable to look silly with comments like RIP is only a Christian thing:

This verse has been found inscribed in Hebrew on gravestones dating from the 1st century BC, in the graveyard of Bet Shearim. It speaks of the righteous person who died because he could not stand the evil surrounding him. A recapture of these words, read as "come and rest in peace", has been transferred to the ancient Talmudic prayers, in a mixture of Hebrew and Aramaic of the 3rd century AD. It is used to this day in traditional Jewish ceremonies.

And just as mediocre in its ability to do its job .

So here's the breakdown on Senators who may vote against a Trump appointee:

Romney (likely)
Collins (likely)
Murkowski (maybe)
Rand (possibly)
Sasse (possibly)
Alexander (possibly)

These GOP Senators said they opposed a SCOTUS nomination in election years previously:

Cruz (likely will support a nomination now)
McConnell (already on record that he will support a nomination now)
Graham (could flip)

It would take 4 Senators defecting to stop the nomination. This puts the most vulnerable Senators (like Collins) dead in the crosshairs. Romney hates Trump and will block. Murkowski is a strange bird, who knows. Rand is a complete wildcard, so who knows there. Sasse is from a strong R state, but seems to have more ethics than most politicians, so not sure about him. Alexander is another wildcard... he's retiring, and also seems a possibility.

Cruz and McConnell are lost causes. Their hypocrisy is stunning. But they're both low life scumbags, so they'll do support exactly what they said they wouldn't previously.

Graham is a knucklehead. He'll be crucified in the press should he support the nomination, and he's a Trump butt kisser, but who knows.

Will be very interesting to hear their public opinions over the next couple days.

I've thought about it some more. He should nominate a Hispanic and watch the Dems tear that Hispanic apart the next 30 days.
He's not nominating a black person, a Hispanic person, nor a woman. It will be an old white guy. He's predictable

That’s generally how it’s been. Moderate white women love RBG and post all the cringy “Notorious RBG” culturally appropriating BS and progressives/“socialists” are more willing to criticize her
Or... it’s like I said and even to her it’s obvious she made poor choices which forced this situation if she truly cared as much as her last supposed statement says. Don’t worry I don’t expect you to be able to acknowledge that.

Also. Moderate women love her more than socialists/progressives. Lol. I’d guess ALL women’s admiration for her if they have any is due to her career long stance on fighting more for women’s issues.
