Trump is a common sense POTUS, not an Ivy League drone.
Both me and you know you don't want to vote for Biden. You won't vote for Trump but you don't want to pull the lever or punch the botton for Biden either. A lotta folks in the circles don't either and it's causing more riff's than in the past. Barbershop talk.
Honestly, I thought it was a local decision too, but apparently we’re wrong.
Maryland to drastically reduce number of polling places in November, despite gov's concerns of disenfranchisement
Trump takes questions from Fox News talk show hosts. They are not "the media". They are sycophants.
... and as a Biden supporter, I like that the Republicans are setting such a low bar for him to clear. It doesn't feel like he needs to do very much at all.
No Biden can pronounce Yosemite and walk up and down steps. He can also drink a glass of water with one hand and never bragged about not reading books.
Haha.
He has done a great job of convincing people even dumber then he is that his idiocy is just plain talk.
He is an Ivy league drone. He just didn't get the actual education while paying some poor kids to write his papers.
He got all of the Ivy League snobbishness with none of the Ivy League education.
If you factor in early voting, does closing some polling places actually reduce the number of voting hours available? We've lived in the same place for 40 years and our polling location has changed multiple times - this year it's in yet another location - the fifth as I recall (some of the other changes just sent us back to a place we'd gone before). That's on the actual election day. If we want to participate in early voting, guess what, that's nowhere near us; but it is convenient for all the downtrodden folks you are defending. As far as closing polling locations, that often speeded up the process for us because the logistics and layout of the the new place were much better. Why do you automatically jump to it being a negative?
If you want to consider other things, there are no nearby bus routes here, but there are plenty from inner city neighborhoods to early voting locations. Another good one, we live a little over five miles from the airport, cabs to downtown (much further) are far cheaper than a cab to our house. It actually costs less to rent a car for that little trip to and from the airport than to pay parking for a trip more than a couple of days or a cab - cab rates aren't set by the mile - they are locale based rates "negotiated" by the city. Just ways that costs and benefits are frequently shifted from "affluent" to "oppressed" neighborhoods.
Actually, as Trump loves to point out, he did graduate from an Ivy League school (Penn). However, per his own family, he did have to pay someone to take the SAT for him. And the first part of this sentence is comical. Trump flies in the face of common sense and good taste.Trump is a common sense POTUS, not an Ivy League drone.

I live close to western Maryland and no, it’s not “solidly under control of the Dems”.Maryland has for years been a democrat haven. Why would MD seek to disenfranchise what amounts to sure dem voting blocs at either the state or local level? Perhaps you added 1+1 and got 0? Sometimes the truth isn't as simple as it might seem. And by the way, the governor referenced in the MD article is R (the first in a while) the rest of the state is solidly under control of the dems.
You seem to think it's a nefarious, organized scheme to disenfranchise voters and have yet to prove it.I live close to western Maryland and no, it’s not “solidly under control of the Dems”.
Why would anyone seek to disenfranchise anybody else in a truly free democratic society? That’s the point.
Is there like a farm where the Dems raise these ugly sows?
I find it funny that you draw the line at Yosemite..... walking stairs..... and reading a book....... completely fine with Biden being a racist rapistNo Biden can pronounce Yosemite and walk up and down steps. I agree with your analysis at least part of the time on non partisan issues, but this is one where we aren't going to see eye to eye. The dems check almost all the blocks in having control of MD; the fact that the gov and lt gov are R says they don't have a stranglehold. I'd guess that a electoral map of MD (like most states) is red outside the metropolitan areas - the urban areas (like the notoriously corrupt and incompetent Montgomery Co) if large enough generally rule states like MD.
