He's adjusted well [to the middle].

Jeremy is an instinctive guy and a smart guy. We weren't behind the eight ball schematically.
We are just trying to get better each day and maximize his ability.
He's been great. Continues to do all the right things and give his best effort.
For us, it's about how do we put him into a position to be successful.

It's a sense of comfort. That's where I started...It's been a much easier transition for me.

It's about personal connections and how you relate to them....You don't get to see them face-to-face, that's tough.
Coach Pruitt put a big emphasis on building relationships.
Brian Niedermeyer on new additions to coaching staff:
I think the new guys we brought on have been great. They have personalities that people want to be around.
They have been great additions to the staff.
Brian Niedermeyer on Henry To'o To'o and LB group:
He's a really good leader. He is bringing guys along.
We are a versatile group. We can put people in different positions - which is awesome.

Jay Graham on Eric Gray:
We are trying to find that ceiling. He's a smart young man. It's been good so far - him studying up and understanding different concepts.

Jay Graham on special teams:
Everybody has to be ready. Some guys may have to know more than one position.
Guys are doing a great job of being flexible and understanding our situation.

Both of those guys are more mature than the average freshman...Those guys are working hard, listening to older guys. It's been a big help.
Said both guys have good ball skills.
Jay Graham on how RB position has changed:
The game has changed...As a RB, you're the fifth receiver. Sometimes you're the No. 1 receiver out there...You have to have a good understanding.
Jay Graham on RBs in passing game:
You have to understand the whole concept. Not just your route, but everyone's.
You've got to study if you want to get the ball in the pass game. They've worked hard in that.
Jay Graham on Ty Chandler & Eric Gray:
It's been a joy being around these guys. We have almost gotten to know each other more due to the situation...I'm impressed by those guys. They've done the things they are supposed to do to lead this room.
Jay Graham on Dee Beckwith at RB:
Dee has done a really good job...He had an understanding of it. I tried to stick with what he does naturally and adjust from there.
I think he's done well with it...For a taller guy, he has the athleticism to do the job.
Jay Graham on being back at Tennessee:
I chose to be a football coach because of the men who coached me and helped me grow.... I'm fortunate to have this opportunity back at Tennessee.
I've been to a lot of places, but there's no place like Tennessee.

Who have we had over the years?

Pope (TE/FB), DWA, Eli Wolf, Ethan Wolf, Downs, Rivera, Stocker/Bartholemew

Yeah, I think Stocker was our most recent solid/good TE. Rivera was our best receiver. Eli/Ethan were just.. there.. DWA was used more as a blocker.

I know it’s been mentioned already, but I highly recommend watching “The Social Dilemma” on Netflix.

if you have had this sensation of wondering - why are we all so agitated with each other? Why can’t opposing sides talk with civility anymore? Why does it seem so hard to get a bead on “truth” these days? Or ..:: why did I just spend an hour scrolling through nonsense? Why don’t kids these days actually TALK to each other anymore? Are we raising an entire generation that only know how to communicate to each other through the aid of a phone app?

I can’t recommend that documentary enough. I’ve basically shut down all social media.

Other than Volnation, of course !

Jacob Warren is a sleeper. He was a gifted receiver and a mismatch coming out of high school, but only weighed like 215 at 6’7”. If he’s truly north of 250 like VQ says, then he might be an answer at TE.

Also, sucks about Lowe but it is what it is. Hopefully Sean Brown can make his mark.
