Given the odd type of a college football season it already is going to be, Iowa State surprisingly being respectable and conceding the loss.

They just got beat today and conceded to it. The defense was too gassed and with the way ISU was playing on both sides of the ball, they might have needed somewhere around at least 6 timeouts to not just stop them, but also put together an even decent drive.

(Not to mention, there possibly might be some realization in the program that they’re just out there for the program/conference to get its TV money this season? That’s pretty speculative, though, so don’t really know how much weight such an idea should actually be given.)
