I've fallen into a routine of listening to Jungle albums every day for hours on end while doing things around the house. Their music sounds like a never ending 70s/80s party.

What is some new music you all have been diving into during the offseason?

Charles Mingus has been heavy in my playlist lately.

Haha I loove some classical. Me and some buds took a classical music appreciation class together and got really into Vivaldi, Tchai, Chopin, etc. I'm talking guys with dreads walking around high school humming Four Seasons 🤣

Brahms Violin Concerto is outstanding. Always thought it was a Romantic period piece that hints at the Eastern European influences that were going to shape Modern/20th century classical music.

Jungle is so funky. If you like them you’ll probably like Glass Animals, Vulfpeck, Toro y Moi and RJD2. Not necessarily new ~5 years old but similar sounds. Rock wise, I don’t have anyone new new. But within the last decade I’m a huge fan of My Morning Jacket and Tame Impala.

I used to have a chant CD back in the 90s I would put on when going to bed...Some of the most relaxing crap I have ever listened too...

Lol, makes me think of the Pure Moods CD. Y'all remember this commercial from late night TV in the late 90s and early 00s?

Bunch of Enya and Enigma, plus it randomly had the Exorcist theme on it.

Man has taste. I'd throw in Black Pumas, Alabama Shakes, Andrew Bird

Big fans of all them, except Vulfpeck I haven't heard of before. I'll have to check them out. Tame, MMJ, and Toro especially are 3 of my absolute favorites. Toro leaves a bit to be desired live, but MMJ and especially Tame are absolutely insane. Must-see live acts.

I’d also throw in TV on the Radio and LCD Soundsystem for a little outside the box. They’re my favorite bands. TV will have you reevaluate your whole life and LCD will have you dancing your ass off while being in your feels. Y’all will probably recognize their hits

Man, we could have been having this talk and becoming homies months ago instead of talking about COVID lol

Dude I was just playing Pure Moods 2 for my wife the other week 🤣 I bought it at the beach as a young kid and fell in love with the relaxing songs. Massive Attack, Dream Academy, Yanni, those were my jams haha

Seen TV live, somehow didn't make it for me though I like some of their stuff. LCD is absolutely top notch and live at Bonnaroo it was a 30,000 person dance party.
