Just catching up on the social quarantine thing. Are you telling me had we played this past weekend, we would have been without 44 players?!

These guidelines are way too punitive.
Yeah and that rule doesn't apply to Georgia and Alabama. Why are we even attempting to play with rules so unfair?

I don't recall that the SEC has made a statement on it, but there was talk of them adopting the same policies as the Big 12. You have to have a 53 man roster available for gameday, with specific numbers at each position. Doesn't matter if it's starters or not. So, with 44 out, I doubt we would have hit those numbers, and the game would have just been postponed or canceled.

I agree that the 14 days of quarantine is a bit much, but we all know that this will not be a normal year. It will be a wild ride. Other games this weekend have already been postponed because of outbreaks.
My question will be - whose call is that? Say Bama is playing Vandy/Arky and is down to 50 players and still want to go. On the other hand, what if Vandy/Ark is down to 60 player legitimately...but just throw in 10 more into "quarantine" and claim they have to cancel. And will that be considered a loss or non-event?

I could see a lot of games being played.

Is it only educational institutions that are subjected to this 14-days thing? I know our county school department has adopted that. I guess I didn’t think it applied to extracurricular stuff like sports.

I can't imagine trying to teach kids this way or being the parent trying to keep the younger one glued to a computer screen. Hate that for the younger kids especially boys. If there was any way possible just homeschool and give them the attention they need. Mercy
But but what if the parents doesn’t have no more sense than God give a grasshopper? 🤷‍♂️

Gregorian Chants! We'd "sing" that in the halls too haha. We would get hype on that.

/nerds I know

Some of the 60s pop rock groups used to incorporate some chants into their songs. I know The Association, one of the first groups I ever saw in concert, used them in one of their songs, although the name of the song now escapes me. The Bee Gees used the chants on their very first lp on the song Every Christian Lion-Hearted Man Will Show You.

A little chanting

2 of the 4 247 mods say the surprise preseason player has been Cedric Tillman. What a pickup, in foresight. Iirc he was a super late name to pop up. A low 3* way out in Nevada of all places. Not sure who identified him, but he's looking like a real steal.

Another pick was Kenneth George Jr, another underrated gem from that class.

Those 2 were the lowest rated guys from Pruitt's first class and their value appears legit and already passing CBJ's older guys. Amazing.

I remember we got him late after we lost another low ranked WR commit who flipped late to FSU. Can't remember his name now, but he was an unknown when staff found him, either a 2* or low 3*, but he was later reranked to a 4*, then visited FSU late and decommitted from UT and signed with the noles. And staff then went out and found Tillman.

Was a Pac 12 assistant who’s team didn’t have room and knew Pruitt was looking for another WR after Jordan Young flipped to FSU.
