I really can't blame you for taking a break. I don't recommend rushing back. This is a moment of introspection. I was where you are several years ago.

I don't believe I am a "true" conservative but I have more things in common with the party than the "new" democratic party. I've mentioned before I am a registered democrat but a professed independent but mostly a voting republican. I will probably get switched to independent with my next license update.

Our beliefs are all points on the continuum sometimes that changes some as we mature. The democrats shifted left past my point years ago. They are not for the working class anymore. They are not for country anymore. I heard someone say that the other day and I believe it to be true. That used to be the democratic party but now it's the republican party. Republicans were considered better with foreign policy but democrats were better with domestic at least that was the idea. It's really hard to know what the democratic party stands for today but not really. They've shown their cards. As you mention everything socialist, government dependent and power they stand for even if it means torching the country in the process. The people that seem to pulling the strings grew up in places like Somalia, Pakistan and Puerto Rico. Others have lobbyists making millions and are personally getting rich in government.

I started off slow with giving the republican party a chance so it didn't feel like a seismic shift but as the democratic party collapses into chaos and selling the country to the highest bidder it has gotten easier. Now I'm in a position to starting seeing some personal gains being a responsible citizen barely in the middle class but I fear that will come to an end of Biden is elected and the Sanders wing takeover. I've learned many of blacks in congress are puppets and getting rich off black struggles. It's a drug that doesn't have a party or a race.

Nothing? Take off the blue blockers for two seconds. Objectively it's clear Biden isnt in a solid state of mind. You can argue he is in a better place mentally or physically than trump. But to say there is NOTHING wrong with Biden is horse poop and says you are speaking partisanship and not truth.

The evidence being rejected is the one saying the
entire country and the entire economy needed to be shut down for months to combat this. At this point anyone can look back and see that is true.

I'm studying to understand how we got to Trump vs Biden to lead this nation. Good grief it's scary

Me too, but maybe this generation of kids coming up today that was always given a participation trophy and never held accountable for anything will catch on when they start going to jail for crap like this. They need to start doing wholesale arrests at these nightly riots and put them in jail too, none of the no bail required policies.
