No Rockwell painting needed just keep showing videos of BLM / Antifa groups attacking black store owners , managers , harassing people outside establishments. Rioters burning business and blocking freeways , the message will sink in .

But it's not persuasive. You don't scare people into voting for you by expressly telling them they should be scared. Is a horror movie scary because someone in the movie says "I'm going to scare you now. Boo!"?

You create a mood or image or scene that conjures up forebodingness and impending danger, like the revolving gate in the Willie Horton ad. And you dogwhistle about what you're suggesting, you don't just say your lilly white burbs are going to be destroyed by black and brown folks.

I didn't see where he said any of that. And I don't think he is trying to scare people, he is telling them what is happening and what will happen.
