If you want to challenge the credentials of Goldberg as a journalist, that's fine. He is not the only one reporting these allegations from former Trump Administration officials, however. You will also need to discredit Jennifer Griffin...

No problem there John Roberts already walked back her report...I don't trust her because I read some of her Tweets that went way beyond reporting and into opinion and commentary if she wants to do that stuff from a person acct that's fine

No, he didn't. John Roberts had nothing to do with Jennifer Griffin's report. Roberts didn't say that Jennifer Griffin had reported anything that was false, and he didn't try to "walk back her report". As a means of damage control for the pro-Trump, Fox News viewership, Roberts tried to repackage or "sanitize" Jennifer Griffin's reporting by emphasizing what she had NOT been able to verify from Jeffrey Goldberg's article in The Atlantic, over what she HAD been able to verify from the Goldberg article.

You are not presenting that in an honest light.

Okay I've been reading up on everything and this is pure speculation on my part
I think President Trump respects the troops and also knows the benefit of a good photo op..that said I think he probably said something in frustration and it was either misconstrued by military men or was purposely used for political means.. It was raining and he was probably tired from meetings...he had just come out of a heated one with Macron...then learns he can't fly and would have to drive there and back 4 hours..that's probably where the "Why do I have to visit two cemeteries?" quote comes from...and again this is pure speculation the losers might have been thinking it was a French cemetery.. I respect the military too but even I've made jokes at how terrible the French military has performed over history...think there is something there but it's not like it has been portrayed..

You seem very willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Donald Trump. I'm not sure what he has done to ever deserve that. It's well-established that Donald Trump struggles with empathy. Donald Trump is also an egotistical, selfish, loudmouth who is prone to being disrespectful. It's easy to believe that the filter between Trump's brain and mouth wasn't working on this trip and he said these things. How forgiving a person is, depends on what you thought of him before this. I think we know where you stand.

The fact that not a single one has gone on record on something this damning should be all telling to you. You do not say something like this and then hide like a coward in the night. Also you should really think twice trying to use something like this to further your own agenda. It is time for being to deal with truth and put the half truths and no truths aside. There is a limit to what the hell you can say without being held accountable and the crap of the news media not being held accountable without proving malicious intent is a bar set way to high in this day and time of news propaganda.

I didn't vote for him last time but will this time...he is some of those things but I think he is better at the economy and keeping us out of wars...I also seriously think Biden has dementia

That is easy to say, but at least for a few more months, Trump is still the president. Trump has made it very clear that he is a vindictive person, who has no qualms with using the power of his office to seek retribution against those who have reported damaging information on him to either the press or to Congress. Whether or not this damaging information was true, means nothing to either the Trump Administration or his supporters. Everything has become tribal these days. It only matters whose side you are on, not if you are righteous. Trump also has an Attorney General in William Barr who performs his duties as if he is a consigliere for a mafia family crime boss. It is understandable why an informant might want to wait until Trump has left office before coming forward. Unless you have been in exactly the same position, and you haven't, nobody here has... then you shouldn't judge.
